We'll double down on our critique of government incompetence this week. Mostly because government has doubled down on providing examples to critique.
The CDC's Ebola follies would be funny if they weren't putting the nation at such grave risk.
And now there's word Obama wants to send Natioal Guard troops to Africa's Ebola hot-zones.
Or is he just being sneaky about getting the Guard prepped for hot-zones at home?
Obama skipped a fundraiser and a political pep rally this week to "focus on Ebola."
Cancelled a fundraiser. Should it scare you - or be taken as a cause for celebration?
Stock market's continuing with crash and surge volitility.
Mid-term elections are coming up fast.
Fourth quarter 2014 seems packed with booby traps like a few other fourth quarters in history.
Are you ready to hunker down, or are you still partying like it's 1929?

Clara Bellino’s musical genesis is interesting andmemorable, and easily translates into a hybrid of classicAmerican songwriting mixed with the romanticism ofFrench jazz and classical roots. It’s an intoxicating andcharming mix of old world meets new with a…pardon thepun…French twist. What Bellino has managed to do withthis set of songs is to show a versatility, deft vocal touchand an attention to detail that shines through everymoment of the record. “Hand in Hand” is a Bobby Sharp ballad, and Bellinooffers up two very smooth and delightful interpretations onthis record. The first is a solo Bellino, with a vocal trackthat sounds liquid, languid and definitely sets a romantic,old-world tone. The second finds Bellino in a duet with thelate Bobby Sharp himself (who penned the classic“Unchain My Heart”), and the contrast of their voices issuch a refreshing blend of experience and tone. There isa vintage quality to the pairing, and sits easily as amodern gem of its own, but stands up to classic duets ofthe past.Clara Bellino’s artistry is what rings loud and clear aboveall of the individual and collectively interesting and uniquemoments on this record. She has a clear and intuitiveunderstanding of how to meld her upbringing with her ownmodern experience in the American music scene. She is aunique voice, but the music itself is universal. Both arewidely appealing, and Bellino’s infectious personalityshines.
Nova Scotia has a richness of paranormal activity and mythology that dates back before Columbus found the new world...settlement of 1738 - 84 and even before that... Henry Sinclair.. knew it.. we will examine Nova Scotia's rich history and the settler's who named and renamed this place... the Knights Templar Myth and the FreeMason Connection to Nova Scotia. Was Nova Scotia supposed to be the NEW SCOTLAND? a UTOPIA for the"good Sheppards of Arcadia" Who were they? and why does Nova Scotia have a Scottish Rite Mason foundation with a richness of paranormal activity and mythology that dates back before Columbus found the new world... and Henry Sinclair.. knew it... Coal and Steel Mining, Resources, Agriculture, Rich Land... and an interesting ley line.. that may just contain certain properties to create the perfect vortex areas that would explain the UFO sightings and the Ghostly encounters ... the Bermuda Triangle is not that far from here and there is much to look at.. perhaps we hold the holy Grail.... burried deep below booby trapped treasured sink holes... perhaps Oak Island is not the only place.... there are significant reasoning... why the Knights Templar would have chose to come here... and why the Freemasons DID and still live among us here in Nova Scotia... why? Various areas such as Chester, Halifax, New Ross and Oak Island. What is the significance of the term "ARCADIA" and why do we have not only French Cajon Roots (Acadians) but Scottish and German settlement even....
BEFORE the mixology of the secret societies.. there were distinct separate groups..that fought for the new world...and fought over Nova Scotia.. why? Gary Skogen’s tour in Vietnam (1971–72) was the best year of his life. Living with fellow CID investigators in an isolated hooch overlooking the South China Sea at the U.S. base at Chu Lai, Skogen enforced military drug laws during his working hours and yet managed to pursue a life of perfect hedonism—far from the farm life in southwestern North Dakota where he grew up. With unlimited access to cheap beer, a wide variety of compliant Vietnamese women, and a jeep he had somehow commandeered, Skogen perfected his criminal investigative skills at a time when U.S. troop morale had reached its nadir.
This unconventional, unheroic, and unapologetic book is not a typical Vietnam memoir. Together with 80 percent of the two million men and women who served in Vietnam, Skogen spent his time behind the scenes at a large support base. He did not slog on midnight patrols through Viet Cong tunnels or rice paddies studded with booby traps. He spent his year investigating the men who endangered the lives of their fellow soldiers by giving themselves over to unrestrained drug use.
Skogen’s gritty narrative proves that some whose names are incised on the Vietnam Veterans Memorial wall died in less than heroic circumstances. Backed by impeccable research in the files of the National Archives and Records Administration, this unromanticized account reveals the sordidness of the war in its late phases, and questions the validity of seeing all Vietnam veterans as victims. NOT ALL HEROES-An Unapologetic Memoir of The Veitnam War, 1971-72-Gary Skogen
