Every round of elections brings uncertainties, in particular for small and medium-sized companies. In general, big businesses know what to expect – not to mention that they also have the leverage to influence the policy according to their best interest. However, for the small business owner, this is always a period of anxiety, since every change in the taxation system can lead to significant losses or increased expenses, which are often enough to drive an inexperienced businessman to bankruptcy.
Therefore, it’s vital to make your presence felt, during election years more than ever. Advertise your business aggressively, so that clients will remember you, even when they’re busy watching a debate or participating in a rally. It’s a period of uncertainty for everybody, so you’ll have to adjust your strategy, depending on which products are most likely to suffer a price increase after the elections.
Some people prefer making a purchase before a big change – for instance, get a new car, or new furniture, or refurbish their homes. They’ve spend the past three or four years watching the market, and they want to benefit from the conditions before they shift again. Therefore, your video advertisements should reflect this reality, and you should make sure to push them harder during election years.
Immediately after the elections, there are usually a few weeks of calm, when people are waiting to make sure in which direction the market will shift, and which will be the first new policies implemented. This is usually a fairly slow period for any business – but, if you manage to make it through, business will return to normal shortly.

I found out at the Labor Temple on Thursday night that a standing board member who does not face re-election is the treasurer or one of the higher posts on David Kirby's election committee. This is a conflict of interest. It is a conflict of interest because there is a lot of ingrained, concrete power struggles on the board with 5 dominant members and 2 outcasts. It is important that each candidate presents themselves with a fresh voice with no political allies that will stir up old rivalries. This topic will be discussed and also the bad decision by the local labor organization in Duluth to support a candidate with no background in blue collar labor.
Shona Banda joins me as regular co-host of "A Cup of Joe." We will be discussing Shona's historic case and lawsuit against Kansas, and UCCA, the new coalition dedicated to ending prohibition..
Special guests include Adam Assenberg- running for Sheriff and his historic lawsuit,
Jake Sturn joins us to introduce his incredible story: He will be joining us next week for an in depth interview...
We met Jake via this message:
Hello, I have a rather unusual case in which doctors in three countries tried to murder my daughter. She was born with brain cancer. The cancer caused her to have a stroke in the seventh month of pregnancy, leading her to have severe epilepsy and cerebral palsy. We have saved her life using a new dosing cannabis protocol we developed. No one will investigate or assist us, our daughter has been left to be die (she has never received any legitimate medical care despite being deathly ill). To see a full review of the evidence, you can watch a documentary that shows the efficacy of cannabis as treatment and how the doctors tried to murder her here: http://saveshyloh.com/#Video . We have exhausted all options. Through treatment with cannabis, our daughter's cancer is in remission now for two years, her cerebral palsy and epilepsy are fully controlled, and she has recovered from all of her stroke symptoms. If her case were made public, cannabis prohibition would immediately end as well as some of the most horrible crimes that are being committed in the hospitals against children. Is there any way you can assist us?
