Kris Warren, a documentary filmmaker, is producing an exciting new film about how clinical Music Therapy and Neurologic Music Therapy are being used as options for treating symptoms of Parkinson's Disease and many other populations. He is also a music artist who discovered Music Therapy recently in August 2013. Funds are also currently being raised on Kickstarter to film internationally.
Kris is joined by Professor Michael Thaut from Colorado State University. Dr. Thaut's internationally recognized research focuses on brain function in music, especially time information processing in the brain related to rhythmicity and biomedical applications of music to neurologic rehabilitation of cognitive and motor functions.
RG Ingersoll - A Song in Search of it's Singer - Show 7
Ingersoll discusses how the new recording artists of today are going back to the old ways of analog recording and producing their music on vinyl. They call the CD an anique, just like our grandparents old 78 RPMs. However, old recording artist as well as the new ones are using old techniques to record new songs with the sounds of the 1930's equipment. It's a radical way to make recordings and they are getting major airplay on all media types.

As we enter into festive times with our loved ones and friends let's remember that not everyone has family and friends to connect with. We often take for granted that their is someone to go home too or share a meal with together.
Many people are grieving at this time of year due to loss of a loved one, financial hardship, or just the weather can cause people to feel down, isolated, and depressed. Pride and Fear are two main factors that keep us stuck and bound in isolation and depression. We will discuss ways to get out of a "funk" and how to deal with loneliness during this season and for a lifetime.
Let's talk about what it means to be and the difference between being Lonely, Alone, and Loneliness.
1. Are you feeling overwhelmed from too many commitments, financial hardships, or unrealistic expectations?
2.Are you experiencing frequent headaches, excessive drinking or overeating, or insomnia?
3.Do you find yourself being isolated from friends or co-workers, crying or feeling "down" during this time of the year?
4. Do you feel emotionally isolated and you have family and friends around?
5. Do you dread being alone at this time of the year?
COME GET ON THE COUCH!!!!
