    How Do We Stop This?

    in Politics Conservative

My Take On It - My daily take on a random topic.

The news stories of young Black men being killed by police will continue to come.  This story line is simply too enticing for the media to let go.  Sure these stories need to be told but what is the motive and what is the expected outcome of these stories?

It seems as if these stories are cherry picked and told for the sole purpose of creating a buzz.  In affect they simply pour salt in the wounds of Blacks and Whites alike.  These stories are told with the seeming end gole of just having a story to tell to cause discord and unrest.

There is an injustice going on here far beyond of any real or percieved injustice to the dead individual involved.  When we see these stories we all pick a side without any real knowledge of the facts.  We jump to judgement of innocence or guilt faster than the judgement of the Bush Gore Election of 2000.

We all have decided what side we are on and rush to defend Trayvon Martin because of the color of his skin.  We rush to defend the Baltimore PD because Freddie Gray was simply a known thug.

All of our decisions have been preprogrammed once we simply see a head line or from the opening remark of a "Breaking News" story.  Do we really ever see any real justice?  What kind of good should we all be expecting?

What about instead of my side "winning" the argument we started to actually realize "hope and change"?  I mean in a way that benefits us all.  What about if we as people of color actively engaged the police instead of avoiding them?  ...

The King Me Show: The American Dream: Buying A Home While Black in America

    in Radio

Home ownership has been an important vehicle in creating a solid white middle class, but it has not done the same for most black homeowners, because blacks and whites buy homes in very different neighborhoods. Research shows that homes in majority black neighborhoods do not appreciate as much as homes in overwhelmingly white neighborhoods. This appreciation gap begins whenever a neighborhood is more than 10% black, and it increases right along with the percentage of black homeowners. Yet most blacks decide to live in majority minority neighborhoods, while most whites live in overwhelmingly white neighborhoods. Shift Black Talk to Investing in Self

    in Politics

Black word on the street should be invest in self. Listening to social media gives insight into how divided America is about all our issues. A lot of talk today is about police brutality of Black men. The killing of Black unarmed men is inhumane and cops not being held accountable. This is a serious problem with many facets involved before it can be resolved. People have a laundry list of causes for police brutality. Anywhere from blaming fatherless households, to jobless heads of households, criminal minded youth, young Black men who are too lazy to work to women who are having too many babies and children not being taught right from wrong, and to top it off, God is not in the households. These reasonings come from Blacks and Whites. I would say the pre-reconstruction bunch did a great job passing down the beliefs of slavery to the descendants of slaves and slavemasters. Blacks and Whites who say if Blacks learn how to act there wouldn't be trouble with police insults humanity, the right to live, and is an insult to grieving Black families. Black talk should be to invest in self and end attempts of forced assimilation.

Donald Sterling, Chocolate City, & Gentrification Factors

    in Real Estate

On our podcast "It's My House" we shall discuss "Gentrificaiton Factors".

Recently billionaire Donald Sterling was quoted (according to the online publication Financial Juneteeth) by saying: "Jews help their own, but successful  African Americans do not".

When it comes to many African American neighborhoods that become gentrified (the Black Not Helping Blacks Syndrome)  appears to be a major factor.

We shall take a look at the following case studies:

Forgive America & Remember, Thank, & Pray for the Vets

    in Self Help

In Letitia's Love Campaign, she states how she loves America, but how its sin, pride & arrogance. She will shine the light on the darkness, which is overtaking America & other nations. Satan is no god. He is a thief who comes to steal, kill, & destroy (John 10:10). People have forgotten the Golden Rule: Do unto others as you would have them do to you! Anyone serving in the military should be treated with the utmost respect. We are praying for Michael Giles, an active duty serviceman, was given a 25-year mandatory minimum sentence for defending himself in FL.

Ms. Peters learned how to forgive America for putting her & her family into the secret, lifetime generational human subject research. They did it to the military as well and have lied  She has done the research to prove it. They cannot do anything that they want to do. It is illegal & against the law. Every human being should be treated with respect & honor. No one should be used as a human guinea pig. The military & the nation's leaders have betrayed America & the American people. When the secret 1950's/1960's St. Louis research was exposed by Dr. Lisa Martino-Taylor that experimented on the poor, blacks & minorities, the Army representative said that they did not know how to hold them to be accountable for their own laws. She does & sent 2 Affidavits to the nation's leaders in 2013 & have not heard from them. They defaulted & she is asking for the 10 page remedie

Is slavery the blame, for the issues that Blacks face TODAY?

    in Education

Often times I hear that Black people(specifically Black Americans/African-Americans) continues to suffer TODAY, because we don't know our culture, being that everything was stripped away from us during slavery. I also hear that slavery CURRENTLY, plays a part in Black men and women socially and economically, I.E. marriage, parenting, unity, support of each other etc. Although slavery(physical sense) has officially been abolished since roughly 1865, do you think it's possible for it to be having an impact?  If so, how?

This thinking is interesting because, post-slavery has been some of the most prominent times for Blacks. Families were together, Black businesses were booming, and they were supported by other Blacks, HBCU's were being founded, musical content was more uplifting and empowering, organizations like The Civil Rights, The NAACP, Black Panthers, Women's Suffrage Group etc, were formed. If slavery has that much of an impact on our social and economic status TODAY, why didn't it affect the people of the early 1900's-mid 1900's in the same way?
