SORT BY Relevancy
This episode is dedicated to two topics, the new bills in Congress for Blue Water Navy Veterans and a discussion regarding whether or not Medical Marijuana helps to relieve symptoms caused by agent orange illnesses. Our first guest will be retired Navy Commander John B. Wells, of the same law firm who wishes to address the new house bill HR969 and the new senate bill S. 681. The remainder of the show will be diedicated to discussion and debate concerning the efficacy and usefulness of marijuana in helping reduce or eliminate pain and discomfort among aging Vietnam veternas suffering from agent orange related diseases. I hope that we will have many live listeners and call in with questions or concerns.

MADNESS MONDAY: MARIJUANA AND BLACK PEOPLE
Marijuana isn't for everybody, however for those who enjoy it I don't see a problem with it. Yes, our black men are being thrown in jails for years for having only a gram on them, but the question is why? Marijuana isn’t a harmful “drug” , in fact it grows from the ground and technically can be considered a plant. But WAIT, why is nasty ass cigarettes legal, but a joint isn’t? The problem is not with weed, the harmless plant, the problem is with the government who is always trying to control any and everything. FUCK THEM .
How do yall feel about marijuana? Do you think it has a negative effect on the black community?
Tonight we're hittin’ yall with 21 facts about Marijuana you never knew.

James O. Born knows what he's writing about. He is an agent with the DEA and a highly regarded author of fiction. Authors on the Air host Pam Stack chats with author James O. Born LIVE on Monday, April 20th at 8pm ET. Here is more about James. When I was new to police work, as an agent with U.S. Drug Enforcement Administration, I had an unrealistic view of what my job would be like. On television, DEA agents are in shoot-outs and get the chicks but in real life they follow suspected drug violators around until they can make a case. If you're a new guy, no one in the DEA much cares about family life or other interests, you just drive. I read a lot of Tom Clancy and W.E.B. Griffin because I liked the idea of learning something about the military. I would read the occasional police book but felt the books didn't reflect my experience as a cop. I was not a CIA trained assassin. I could not rip a shotgun out of someone's hands without suffering a catastrophic injury. I didn't crawl out of crushed police cars and shake off the injury. Neither did any cop I knew. So I wrote a book based on real police work with a ficitonal plot. Buy James's books here http://amzn.to/1zxiA29.

In Michigan, just a few days ago, a young man in a suburb of Detroit captured a video of bullies taunting him and calling him nigger as they rode the bus to a concert. The students responsible for the taunting were suspended, but the mother of the victim and some other supporters think that their should be a more harsh penalty. Unfortunately, the situation may not hold a lot of weight in the way of racial intimidation. But, why is that?
