As we go about our everyday lives, we encounter highs, lows, joy, sadness and various emotions as the world has a tendency to beat us up and bring us joy all at the same time. Some of us will take the good with the bad & keep it moving. We get home and if we're lucky we have someone to vent to and discuss our hectic day with. So many of us are going through trials and tribulations, health issues, financial troubles, living from paycheck to paycheck, or with no check. We' re faced with heartache, disappointment, loneliness, anger, and all too often we aren't able to easily shake it off or to talk about it with someone. We keep issues bottled up, maybe because we don't feel comfortable with sharing with others or we fear judgment for the issues we have or the things we're going through. Do you find yourself looking to the heavens and asking " Why me God?" We've all been there and we all need to be restored! We're seeking answers and questioning "What is going on?" Mind, body, soul & spirit need restoration. Lord, please come by here and restore our minds, bodies, souls and spirits.
Peace & Blessings,
Lesa M. Belle
KB AND THE REVOLUTIONARY RYDERS return to the airwaves with a can of whoop ass and a revolutionary twist. The violence and dysfunction in the black community is spiraling out of control. Black on black crime or as we like to call it , Black genocide, has become a constant and according to statistics it's getting worse. The poverty in our community has driven us insane. Instead of placing teddy bears and t shirts at the scene of yet another murder, black leaders need to be searching for the cause of the insanity. Join us tonight as we take a look at some of the contributing factors to the madness in our community. Call in and be a part of the discussion (347)324-5414. Black men are speaking on Chocolate Sity

On this episode of The Missy Show, we will be exploring the topic of animals and mental illness. Most of us are familiar with the mental disorders that can affect humans, such as anxiety, depression, obsessive compulsion, or post traumatic stress disorder; but can animals also be affected by these afflictions? Join hosts J and D as they seek to answer this question and address potential solutions. Saturday, March 21st at 10 pm entral. Don't miss it!
The more we produce scholarship, the more we are dedicate ourselves as masons to the pursuit of ethics and priniciples the more we reach out to like minded men. Comparing us to a country club does a deservice to the country club and the Craft. They meet entirely different needs. We have our place when a man needs it? Intellectually, we dip into this reservoir as much as we need at a given moment. The individual determines the interval. A summons is only a call out. Filling seats is a different task. In fairness, we have extended the season. Each season, year by year our lands became crowded. He cannot expect time to stretch and neither do we. Better to avoid any pretence of imposition and to present ourselves as indifferent to a mans life.
Showing him dedication is an obligation the better students offer to the new boys. Thoughtful discussion, encouraging his questions, meeting his needs; these are aspects we at times overlook. Perhaps this accounts for those who drop out before the 3rd Degree, but not likely. We initiate a great number in hopes of finding the worthy. It's a pretty big seive and many fall through the grid- no worries- it was meant to be that way. Perhaps he will return- best respect his decision and not chastise or chase.
As we improve our skills, we can begin through our work to express gentle expression and emotion. Leave it to the new boys to punch too hard, too often and have hope they will eventually find just the right touch- the OMG moments- after all- it isn't called the Gentle Craft for nothing.
Fun Saturday topic: Men! How do you choose them, why are they are just not what you planned on to fullfill you in life? Are they dried up bread, like snakes in the grass or heavy as lard? Today we are going to have fun discussing men and sharing stories and thoughts around all their qualities. Do we really need a man to complete us and take out the garbage? Perhaps it is time for us to empower ourselves and not look for men to carry the load, we truly can carry our own load and it is a whole other level when looking for a man when you have stepped it up.
Casual conversation today with Morgan Rose, author of On Becoming NaughtABimbeaux: The Smart Woman's Guide to Finding her Prince without ever Kissing another Frog. Morgan has a great story to share and all the tumbles along the way to discovering men and how they fit in to our lives.
