The most controversial figure in adult entertainment presents a no holds barred discussion about the future of the business. Rob's insight is spawned from having grown up around the adult biz, as his father owned several adult bookstores throughout Western New York.
Rob was the owner of Extreme Associates, which was at the time considered an outlaw in the biz because of its edgy content. Such fare is commonplace now.
Rob and his wife Lizzy Borden paid an extreme price for innovating adult, as both spent a year in prison on federal obscenity charges.
Rob also owned XPW - Xtreme Pro Wresting, which was one of the top wrestling organizations in the world, with a weekly national TV show, employing such superstars as Shane Douglas, X-Pac, Sabu and the late Chris Candido. XPW folded in 2003 after Extreme was indicted.

Samiyyah Saafir-Muhammad was born Jacqueline Glover in New York City in 1951. After spending her early years in foster care, moving four times before the age of three, she settled in with her aunt, following her father’s passing.
While still in elementary school Samiyyah took an interest in helping other students do well, joining “The Future Teachers’ Club” in the fifth grade. As a high school student, Samiyyah became aware her people’s struggle for freedom—witnessing civil rights demonstrations, protests, assassinations and riots—and decided she wanted to help somehow. It was in this atmosphere that she went off to Northeastern University in Boston where she majored in Education. Her stay there was short-lived, however, as she was introduced to the teachings of The Honorable Elijah Muhammad and thereafter joined the Nation of Islam. Within the Nation of Islam’s Muhammad University, Samiyyah underwent educational training and worked as a teacher’s assistant.
Since 2005, Samiyyah has had the privilege of serving as the Directress at Muhammad University of Islam in Atlanta, which serves students from Pre-K to the eighth grade. She has been blessed to carry on the 84-year educational tradition, which was started by the Honorable Elijah Muhammad and his brave followers in the 1930’s.
A widow after 35 years of marriage, Samiyyah presently enjoys the blessing of her and her husband’s nine children: six sons and three daughters, all of whom attended or are attending HBCUs. Samiyyah has been a mother to not only her nine children, but also to her two stepchildren, her nieces and nephews, her eight grandchildren and countless other children and adults in the community who come to her for advice, wisdom and guidance. Affectionately called MamaMiyyah, Samiyyah’s house is never empty

The narrative of the "Cleansing of the Temple" tells of Jesus and the money changers. Jesus expels the money changers from the Temple, accusing them of turning the Temple into a den of theives through their commerical activities, taking advantage of the poor, women, and even the Gentiles who converted to Judaism. Besides Jesus's anger at the moneychangers' greed, he did not like the the noise and commotion; for it made it difficult for those who wanted to go and have prayer time.
Chuck Proudfit, in the article, "The Cutting Edge of Marketplace Ministries", states that the the local church doesn't deal much with everyday realities for the working people in the pews (Amy L. Sherman, 2012). He institues the holistic approach of integrating faith and work through business opportuntites that promotes the four E's: Evangelism, Ethics, Enrichment, and Experiene.
This appears to be a positive perspective of conducting business by way of ministry; however, there are those in the Body of Christ that are profiting off congregants and ministry supporters in the name of "covenant partnership" through requests for financial donations. In addition, some church leaders are mixing business with ministry, selling commercialized products (apparel, haircare, skincare, holy oil, water, handkercheifs, etc.) which appeals more to the image of the leader rather than the ministry of the Gospel.
Join Evangelist Shauntae Scott of "Truth Talk" along with guest host, Pastor Lakeisha Camp-Grant of a Diamond In The Rough Ministries-Richmond, Virginia, as they discuss the pitfalls of commericalism and its effect on leadership and ministry; from the background of this text to modernity. In this episode we will be interviewing Stephen McLaughlin of White Cloud Kung Fu Academy as we discuss the practice of lineage succession. Located in Blackburn, Lancashire of the United Kingdom. White Cloud Kung Fu Academy was founded by Sifu Derek Gordon in 1962 and is today guided by 2 of his students, Dave Cowell & Head Coach Bill Keith, both with more than 40 years of Martial Arts experience. Steven McLaughlin is one of 2 senior instructors both with nearly 2 decades of continuous Martial Arts experience under their belt. He currently teaches Long Boxing(Chang Chuan), Wing Chun, Hsing-I , Bagua Zhang and Yang style Taiji Chuan. He began his training in Chinese Gong Fu at the age of 6 and at age 20 he received his 3rd rank of black belt in 2010.
Lineage succession is the practice of grooming specific students to act as a vessel of transmission for a particular martial style. Tai Chi Chuan is one style in particular that uses lineage documentation much like a family tree to trace its roots and origination. These lineage holders are then entrusted to become caretakers of a particular style ensuring their art continues to thrive in its entirety. Lineage succession is predominantly practiced throughout Asia but we are finding that this method of knowledge preservation is also surfacing in the Asian martial arts in the western world.
Although White Cloud Kung Fu Academy does not officially use Lineage succession the principles of personal growth, self-realization, and lifetime cultivation, are carefully fostered and guided. Steven Mclaughlin is now the 3rd generation of instructors at White Cloud Kung Fu academy.
