Darren Sproles is proving to be the best pick up made by any NFL team this offseason ,and at a value menu price. Sproles,31,looks to have many more crafty miles left in those legs and Coach Kelly is looking smarter every day for the way he has teamed darren up with the NFLs rushing king Lesean McCoy.
The Birds have kept blood pressures up in the first two regular season games, falling behind by over 14 points before waking up and scoring 30+ points to finish games. Big shout outs to The Boyler Room on South street ,which hosted the BIRSS EYE VIEW CREW last night

The B irds travel to hostile territory,of sorts ,to face a bitten Indianapolis Colts team with lots to prove. The Eagles have a lot to answer as wel, after a dismal first half against a decided inferior team. Nick Foles and his bandaged offensive line have thier work cut out for them tonight. Can the defense keep the Birds in the game into the new faces get thier feet under them? We will talk about the game tommorrow night at 7pm. Join us and call in and voice your thoughts.
Embattled wide receiver DeSean Jackson makes his return to Philadelphia on Sunday afternoon when the Eagles host the Washington Redskins. Jackson, who suffered Grade 1 sprain of the AC joint in his left shoulder in Sunday's win over the Jacksonville Jaguars, said he expects to play. Jackson was cut by the Eagles in late march and signed with the Redskins days later.
The Eagles (2-0), meanwhile, will attempt to start 3-0 for the first time since 2004, posting victories in their first two games despite trailing by at least 14 points in the second half of each.
Washington will turn to Kirk Cousins at quarterback after Robert Griffin III exited Sunday's contest with a dislocated ankle.

Sometimes it truly is better to be lucky than good!
While everyone is pointing towards the pass interference no call on T.Y. Hilton that Malcolm Jenkins went on to intercept, let's face it, the Philadelphia Eagles would never be 2-0 if LeSean McCoy doesn't pick up a 3rd-and-15 and Darren Sproles didn't decide to become superman. And yes we're talking about that extraordinary, pinballing 19-yard score where a mere 5-foot-8 man broke three tackles near the goal line.
When Cody Parkey's game-winning kick went through the uprights for a 30-27 Eagles win over the Indianapolis Colts, Philadelphia became the first team in NFL history to win their first two games of the year after trailing by at least 14 points in the second half of each contest.

We are created for relationships. Genesis 1:26-28 tells us plainly.... "Then God said, “Let Us make man in Our image, according to Our likeness; let them have dominion over the fish of the sea, over the birds of the air, and over the cattle, over all the earth and over every creeping thing that creeps on the earth.” So God created man in His own image; in the image of God He created him; male and female He created them. Then God blessed them, and God said to them, “Be fruitful and multiply; fill the earth and subdue it; have dominion over the fish of the sea, over the birds of the air, and over every living thing that moves on the earth.”
Man was never meant to be alone but to have meaningful relationships with others and with God. These next few episodes will deal with how we interact and relate to one another on a daily basis, looking at singles, the family, in the community and workplace.

The Philadelphia Eagles are on MONDAY NIGHT in Week 2, but before we preview the game we give our thoughts on the escalating Ray Rice firestorm that has broken out since the TMZ video went viral on Monday.
As for the game, the retooled Eagles offensive line will have their first test Monday night when they visit the Indianapolis Colts. Left guard Evan Mathis will be out until at least Week 8 with an MCL sprain, while Lane Johnson's backup, Allen Barbre, will miss the rest of the season with an ankle injury. The Birds had the same offensive line for all 17 games last season, including the postseason.
Indianapolis, meanwhile, struggled to generate pressure against the Denver Broncos in their 30-23 loss last Sunday and the news got worse Monday when it was learned that the NFL's reigning sack leader, Robert Mathis, will miss the year after rupturing his Achilles while working out in Atlanta. Mathis was suspended the first four games this season for testing positive for a performance-enhancing drug.
