The SEARCHER's ROAD MAP with Guest Pati Turner

    in Spirituality

Patricia J. Turner (Pati) is a Biological Anthropologist who spent 12 years working as a Marine Scientist.  During that time she began studying anthropology and became deeply committed to conserving the wisdom of our indigenous brothers and sisters who still live sustainably on Mother Earth.   In 2004 she Founded a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization: Tierra Sagrada, The Sacred Earth Foundation dedicated to the conservation of indigenous cultures, their territories and their wisdom.

During the last 15 years, The Sacred Earth Foundation has hosted indigenous Shamans, Elders and Medicine Women from Greenland to Peru to share their wisdom within our communities.  Profound healing both physical and spiritual has been witnessed during these workshops and private healing ventures.  The Sacred Earth Foundation also offers opportunities for Sacred Sweat Lodges, programs of initiations, ancient traditional weddings and, in May, they will offer the ceremony of The Long Dance in the traditon of Beautiful Painted Arrow, a Picurus Pueblo/ Ute Native American who is a visionary of highest esteem.

During her journey on this path, Pati has found immense joy in the guidance she has received.  She has seen many young adults, who carried great fear over the condition of Mother Earth, find a new way of walking on her skin with great hope for the future.  In a culture that is so plagued with depression, she has witnessed the healing joy that accompanies the ancient ceremonies and beliefs of our great teachers who live in harmony with Mother Earth.

The Three Year Economic Program: Collective Power Through Buying Land

    in Women

We have everything we need to create a thriving economy and employment. The challenge is, everybody, or at least a significant percentage of the population, must willingly participate in a collective economic program that enables us to put our money together and buy land. The Nation of Islam has a proven track record of organizing the collective resources of a group and manifesting successful business operations. Can the organization once again create economic success within e inner city community, despite the proliferation of drugs and guns? Can the Nation of Islam redirect the attitudes of Generation X and the "me" generation that has been indoctrinated with a philosophy of selfish materialism and an absence of a sense of community? How does one relearn how to operate within a collective? How many people will it take to make this three year economic program successful. Today's guest breaks down the mathematical figures, the cost projections, potential profits, and what this represents in terms of numbers of people who must participate in order to fulfill the vision and succeed on a national scale. Our guest is Dr Ridgley Abdul Mu'min Muhammad. Later we'll be joined by Andre Joseph, author of How to Be Successful, The 17 Laws.

HOLISTIC DENTISTRY - HOW TO NATURALLY HEAL YOUR TEETH

    in Health

Holistic dentistry also called biological dentistry, biologic dentistry, alternative dentistry, unconventional dentistry, or biocompatible dentistry is the equivalent of complementary and alternative medicine for dentistry. Holistic dentistry emphasizes approaches to dental care said to consider dental health in the context of the patient's entire physical as well as emotional or spiritual health in some cases.

Although the holistic dental community is diverse in its practices and approaches, common threads include strong opposition to the use of amalgam inmaterials in dental fillings, nonsurgical approaches to gum disease, and the belief that root canals may endanger systemic health of the patient through the spread of trapped dental bacteria to the body. Many dentists who use these terms also regard water fluoridation unfavorably.

Many practices and opinions among alternative dentists are criticized as not being evidence-based by the mainstream dental community and skeptics of alternative medicine in general. Generally speaking, such dentists charge far more for the same dental treatment compared to mainstream dentists, as they consider themselves to be providing special care.

    in Family

We are thrilled to welcome Temple Grandin back to our show. Our conversation will focus on what she feels best supported her success in life and the advice she has to offer for parents of children with autism.

Arguably the most famous person in the autism community, Dr. Grandin has been advocating for individuals with autism for more than 30 years. In 2010, Grandin delivered the TED talk “The world needs all kinds of minds.” Grandin’s own experience with autism has informed her numerous books on the subject including My Life in Pictures which was adapted for the award-winning HBO film.

Born on August 29, 1947, in Boston, Massachusetts, Temple Grandin was diagnosed with autism as a child and went on to pursue work in psychology and animal science. She has become a leading advocate for autistic communities and has also written books and provided consultation on the humane treatment of animals.

Grandin has been recognized by the academic community and the general public for her work. In 2009, she was named a fellow of the American Society of Agricultural and Biological Engineers. She is the recipient of several honorary degrees, and has been featured on a range of television and radio programs.

In 2010, HBO released an Emmy Award winning film on Grandin’s life which continues to strike a chord with audiences.  Temple’s willingness to honestly share her challenges as well as share her passionate perspective with depth and resonance has made her a very popular (and busy) speaker and presenter.

About Master Petra: My first profession is architecture and my professional aspiration and goal was to build healing rooms and facilities for people who needed medical care. For me, the house is like a third skin. The physical skin is of course the first one, followed by the clothes we wear, being our second skin, and then the house we live in as our third skin. Throughout my professional life, I had the following experience again and again: even if the best interior designs, biological constructions and materials were applied, people still did not recover or they became sick. Now, I am one of the World Wide Representatives of Master Sha. As a Divine Channel, I am responsible for the Divine Temples worldwide. I feel deeply blessed and honored to have received this wonderful gift and, as a Divine Servant and Channel, I offer my service with dedication to heal and transform rooms so people who are in these rooms can also heal and transform.
