    Special Guest Billy Grima

    in Music

Please join Miss Catherine as she welcomes in a very special guest, Billy Grima.

Billy Grima is a singer/ songwriter living in the Caledon Hills of Ontario, Canada. Born in Blacktown, NSW Australia, Billy started writing at a very young age and was singing in a church choir by the age of 8 years old. At 15, Billy moved to Canada and settled in Toronto.   Like classic singer/songwriters, Billy Joel, Jim Croce, James Taylor and Bob Dylan, life's daily realities and everyday events are a source of Billy's inspiration.  His smooth and soulful sound has earned him comparisons to contemporaries Jason Mraz, Ed Sheeran, Jack Johnson and even Bruno Mars.

Billy has 3 albums to his credit: I'm Just Standing , A Little Piece Of Heaven and his latest, titled Sugar & Cream, produced and engineered by Pete Swann (Glass Tiger’s Alan Connely, Adrian and Justin Lifeson, sons of Rush’s Alex Lifeson.)  Sugar & Cream features a tasty blend of pop, rock, soul and Americana, including the first single, “Pleasure To Have Met You.”  The album is going for worldwide radio adds this spring.

"Writing a hook or humming a melody is medicine,” Grima says.  Let Sugar & Cream be the prescription for your perfect playlist.

The chat room will be opened for questions and comments.  Thanks for your support!

    Miss Catherine

Billy O'Connor came to America from County Cork, Ireland, and grew up on the Bronx streets. After Vietnam, Billy was a Teamster, a Pub and restaurant owner, and before becoming a N.Y.C firefighter for 23 years, an illegal bookie. He has sailed, dove and traveled the world burdened by his addiction to drugs and alcohol.

After the tragedy of 9/11 and the loss of 343 of his brother firefighters he sobered up and attended the University of Florida. At the age of 62, he earned his journalism degree and began to write.

He has written two highly praised weekly columns, two screenplays and numerous political pieces. He also finished in the finals out of nearly 400 contestants in Arizona's funniest comic contest two years in a row.

"Confessions of a Bronx Bookie" is his much-anticipated first novel. Every Amazon review has been phenomenal, all five stars. Most see the novel as a movie or series.

Unlink many authors who come directly out of college, O'Connor waited to write until after he had something to say.

If anyone personifies that life truly begins at 60, it is Billy O'Connor. You can reach Billy @ http://www.BronxBilly.com.

Billy's acerbic wit on stage has entertained audiences throughout California, Florida, New York and Arizona for the past three years. He has shared the stage with such great comedic talents as Todd Berry, Julian McCullough, Lisa Landry and Thai Rivera. As a reformed alcoholic, compulsive gambler and drug addict, his inspirational story reminds us that reminds us all that with proper attitude, life begins at 60. He currently lives in Phoenix, Az.

On The Tee: Masters Preview with Gary Player, Billy Casper & Peter Kessler

    in Golf

On this special Masters Preview edition of On The Tee my special co-host "The Voice of Golf" Peter Kessler and I talked with two of golf's greatest legends Gary Player and Billy Casper.

Gary Player and Billy Casper shared stories about their victories at Augusta National in 1961, 1974, 1978 and 1970 respectively. We looked back at their historic victories, heard details of their rounds, got their thoughts on the changes made to the course over the years, heard their feelings about the loss of Ike's Tree, how competitive the Big 3 are even to this day and who they think will contend this year.

Peter Kessler is not only the greatest voice and interviewer in golf history but also a golf historian. He took us through how Bobby Jones and Clifford Roberts found the property, what Jones and Alister Mackenzie would think of how the course plays today and why he thinks Angel Cabrera will win a 3rd green jacket this year.
