Bucky's 5th Quarter's own Scott Wisniewski & Jake Kocorowski had the great opportunity to talk with WWE Superstar Big E Langston for Jake's article on B5Q. We decided to play the full 11 minute interview with the 5-foot-10, 290 pound athletic freak, as the Badgers are set to face the Hawkeyes Saturday.
Listen in as we ask the former Iowa Hawkeyes defensive linemen how he was introduced in the WWE, his travel schedule, the transitions between college football to NXT and then to the WWE, and his time at Iowa under head coach Kirk Ferentz. We also asked him about the great rivlary between Wisconsin and Iowa, and his thoughts on the Heartland Trophy when he played in Iowa City.
Absolutely great listen, and make sure you check out the article on Buckys5thQuarter.com:

This Saturday on Critical Discourse,
Election Day 2014 is coming up!
Are you voting?
Who, what platforms are you supporting?
SCOTUS affirms Texas’ right to require identification, in order to vote – how else can we know “who’s who”?
Is this a return to Jim Crow, or just a lot of “crow” by those who want to project the “retarded-child” image among black people?
The “tolerant” black community hates Stacey Dash. Is she a murderer? A molester? Sells crack to black people, then became a “respectable” rapper (Remember Big E Smalls’ 10 Crack Commandments)?
What’s her “crime”? She’s a CONSERVATIVE, thus not a member of the Barack Obama-and-the-Democrats-are-never-wrong-always-right club.
We’ve got to look at this more carefully, because we’ve serious disconnect, here, that has to be reconciled.
If know what’s good for you, TUNE IN TO CRITICAL DISCOURSE!
#1: Are you using ONE main concept or idea?
Here’s the problem, you learned somewhere along the way that if one offer is good, then two is better. And if two is good, then 5 must be better. If 5 works, then why not 12?
#2: Is your subject line compelling?
Don’t be clever, funny, cute, boorish, or use double meanings. Those just dont’ work.
#3: Is your content interesting (and short)?
Make your content interesting by writing the message to one person the way you’d explain it in person… and you cared about it.
#4: Is your message or offer clear?
We’ve covered short but I have to make clear a separate category. Clarity trumps almost all other considerations in your email. If you have to stand on your head to come up with a clear message or offer, do it.
#5 How are you using benefit statements?
I’m on hundreds of lists… and I hardly EVER see a benefit used. Here’s how you tell if you are using a benefit. Tell me your message.
6. What is your you vs I count?--remember WIIFM
Once you write your email count how many times you use the words, “I, me, mine, our” vs “you, you’ll, your, you’re.” You’ll soon find you talk about yourself too much.
7. What is your call to action?
Every single email should have a call to action in it.
People who should listen to this show are entrepreneurs, career coaches

Hiway is dropping his next mixtape project "WeezleJewce" on Halloween
We all identify with fictional characters, and Hiway has always held highly the character Beetlejuice. Hiway had for a long time envisioned making a project based on the movie, and when he decided to tackle writing to the entire opening theme music, the idea was once again refueled. Building a collection of songs using industry beats, Hiway (and Wayhi) were back on their RTI-type antics. WeezleJewce was created; the pesky, obnoxious "musical bio-excorcist" who emerges from the underground when summoned. With features only from Hiway's teammates The Gas Station, we give you this glorious undead gem...for FREE. Are we crazy yet?
"WeezleJewce" drops 10/31/14 Halloween day for free on

It’s United Nations Day and who better to discuss that venerable institution than Senator Adlai E. Stevenson III. His father’s great friend, Eleanor Roosevelt, served as a delegate the United Nations General Assembly and chaired the committee that drafted the document known as The Universal Declaration of Human Rights. Moreover, Adlai II was appointed as U.N. Ambassador by then President John F. Kennedy and served in that capacity from 1961 – 1965.
