Chip Kelly deals McCoy to Buffalo for Kiko Alonso; Badgers prepare for Big Dance

    in Sports

In this episode of The Red Light Sports Ramble, presented by The Red Light Sports Network, Evan Witalison and Troy Otradovec will talk about the Wisconsin Badgers basketball team, as they prepare for March Madness.  However, before Badger talk, a huge trade was executed today.  Pending physicals, the Eagles traded All-Pro running back LeSean McCoy, to the Buffalo Bills.  In return, they will receive Kiko Alonso, who missed the 2014, with a knee injury.  What does this trade do for the up tempo offense, that Kelly runs?

The Wisonsin Badgers are off to a 26-3 record, and first place, in the Big Ten (14-2).  The question was asked, in last nights episode, "Do you think the Badgers should put the gas on the peddle, and try to win the Big Ten Tournament, no questions asked, or should they rest some starters as they prepare, for the grueling schedule, of the NCAA Tournament?".  With a Gonzaga loss, this weekend, the Badgers could be on the bubble, for a number one seed.  However, they would most likely have to win out.  Even with a Big Ten Championship, that doesn't mean they will receive that number one seed.  Unless the wheels fall off the bus, they are pretty much locked, into a number two seed.  What are your thoughts? Listen in and call the show.

    How To Rise Above Adversity

"We all face challenges in our business and our lives. In working with dozens of Recruiters, Big Billers and Staffing Executives around the world I have learned from them, as well as from my own experience, how to not only overcome and rise above the challenges we face but, most importantly, how to live a better life in spite of or because of them. Adversity in all of its forms is not the end of the road but just another bump along the way."

The Giants Beat Podcast: Free Agency Preview

    in Football

As the first moves begin to trickle as the Giants prepare for free agency, join David Aitken and Aaron Yorke as they discuss a number of key topics for Big Blue heading into the new league year. Was franchising Jason Pierre-Paul the right move? With 2014 starters Mathias Kiwanuka and JD Walton released, are more soon to follow? Jerry Reese must also make decisions on a host of pending free agents like Antrel Rolle. New York was incredibly active last offseason in free agency but the team does not look to have the resources set to manage similar spending. With that in mind, where does Jerry Reese prioritize? How key is the draft for the Giants this season, with the team holding a top ten pick in the draft for the first time since 2004?
