In the words of the Apostle John, “If anyone says, ‘I love God,’ and hates (works against) his [Christian] brother he is a liar; for the one who does not love his brother whom he has seen, cannot love God whom he has not seen” (1 John 4: 20, AMP). Jesus, himself, said, “And the King shall answer and say unto them, ‘Verily I say unto you, since you have done it unto one of the least of these my brethren, you have done it unto me’” (Matt. 25: 40, KJV, emphasis added).
Seeing that the holidays are upon us, many are preparing to spend time with friends and family members that we do not see on a regular basis. As we make these preparations, let us keep the law of Christ on the forefronts of our minds—“For the entire law is fulfilled in keeping this one command: ‘Love your neighbor as yourself’” (Gal. 5: 14). Join us for a BlogTalkRadio show entitled “A Biblical Perspective: Love for the Holidays.” We will discuss practical ways to walk in the law of Christ and draw our friends and family members to the altogether lovely one, Jesus Christ.

This week we are discussing the older son who got angry with his father, and refused to celebrate the return of his brother.
Have you ever had to take sides in a situation? Having to take sides and explain your position can sometimes be challenging if it is not done in love. Today we will explore a father's perspective.
How do we get someone to see the BIG picture?
We will use biblical scripture, poetry, and song during our discussion. Join in! SE Scott
