Our Health Guru, Beverly Nadler, recognizes that organic foods is a highly controversial issue. Scientific research confirms that there are significant health problems caused by pesticides, preservatives, GMOs, artificial colors and flavors, hormones, trans fats, high fructose corn syrup, antibiotics and other additives in our food. Yet, there are few, if any articles and recipes in popular magazines that recommend that the food should be organic, and without the additives and chemicals.
Articles about the benefits of fruits and vegetables rarely mention that they should be organic; otherwise, they have dangerous pesticides and other unhealthy components. No wonder consumers are confused and in the dark about what is healthy and what is not healthy. Our show today will shed light on this subject.
