International Sunday School Luke 7:36-50 wk of 04-10-16 by Grover Weaver

    in Christianity

Robert L Deffinbaugh a pastor teacher and elder at the Community Bible Chapel in Richardson, Texas labeled Luke 7:36-50 in his online commentary ‘’Wordless Worship of an Unnamed Woman’’.

Hello everybody this is the Grover Weaver Ministries.org weekly commentary on the International Sunday School Lesson on Luke 7:36-50 from my home studio of the ministry’s Blogtalk Radio Show, I am Grover Weaver your minister and Sunday School teacher thanks for listening and welcome to the broadcast.

This anointing by a sinful woman is in Luke only. The Matthew, Mark and John’s anoints are not the same. There are considerable differences in the circumstances of their anoints to believe they are one and the same; to believer different is to think Dr. Luke changed the circumstances for a desired outcome is highly unlikely...

The narrative consists of Jesus’ response to the ‘’thoughts of Simon’’ (vv 39-47) and His response to the actions of the unnamed woman and the gossip of the dinner guests (vv 48-50). All in all, the narration demonstrates Jesus is a mind reader and a heart regulator and a forgiver of sins...

‘’For he spake and it was done…’’, Psalm 33:9

Hello everybody this is the Grover Weaver Ministries.org Blogtalk Radio Show weekly commentary on the International Sunday School Lesson on Luke 7:l-10 for the week of 04-03-2016. I am Grover Weaver your minister and Sunday School teacher welcome to the broadcast.

Jesus heals a centurion’s servant he spake and it was done his statement to the people and the press was he found no greater faith in the federation of the Jewish people, verse 9. In verse 10 he called it and it was done, the servant was healthy at the same hour he spoke...

We know very little of the servant/slave of our text other than he was a Jew with a good report in the community, a member in the synagogue, held in high esteem by his master compelled the centurion to send for and implore Jesus to come and heal beloved slave.

This is the part of the story where Satan does his trickeration with God’s command to ‘’love one another as I have loved you’’. The enemy of God sees love as what you can get out of it where as God sees love as what you put into it. This idealistic love is in full display in the slave story of Joseph with both Potiphar and Pharaoh and with the David and Jonathan’s story...

International Sunday School Mark 16:1-8 wk of 03-27-16 by Grover Weaver

    in Christianity

The Easter message: “The sabbaths ends the Lord’s Day begins. The tomb is empty. Jesus is risen. Go and tell!’’

Hello everybody this is the Grover Weaver Ministries.org Blogtalk Radio Show weekly commentary on the International Sunday School Lesson on Mark 16:1-8 for the week of March 27, 2016. I am Grover Weaver your minister and Sunday School teacher, welcome to the broadcast. Happy Easter.

The Markan gospel or the gospel according to Peter closes with the resurrection story and a rebuke from Jesus to the Eleven for their disbelief of the empty tomb.

Early in the morning at the dawning of a new day the dew is still on the Roses, the women from Galilee who followed and ministered to Jesus from their substance in life and now death, come to the tomb with ‘’sweet spices’’ to anoint his body for death...

There is much we do not know regarding the darkness on the earth from the six to the ninth hour while the child of god hung between heaven and earth. The resurrection it was an act of God which happened in the darkness of a grave where human eyes can not see. That which is out of sight is out of mind because sight unseen can be mind blowing. In verse 8, the women went away terrified, amazed, trembling and full of fear and they talked to no man. The tomb is empty. He is risen!...

In my summation be rebuked for not believing that the same spirit that raised Christ will raise you also if you have place your faith in Him when He calls you forth from this life to the next. My prayer to God and heart desire is you might, safely cross over from death unto life.

Have a bless day in the Lord everyone and thanks for listening.

International Sunday School Mark 14:26-72 wk of 03-20-16 by Grover Weaver

    in Christianity

‘’On the evening of Jesus of Nazareth’s death, Peter struggles with his faith that a man can live again rise from the grave, he viewed death as an end not a beginning. Satan seeks to sift him like wheat But the Savior has prayed’’, Luke 22:31-32.

Hello everyone this is the Grover Weaver Ministries.org's Blogtalk Radio Program weekly commentary on the International Sunday School Lesson on Mark 14:29-31; 66-72 for the week of March 20, 2016. I am Grover Weaver your minister and Sunday School teacher. Welcome to the broadcast.

The narration is from the last night of Jesus earthly life this cup he is to drink is the reason he came into the world to be the sacrificial lamb of the Passover He sups with the Twelve in the Upper Room. The supper is the sacrament for the crucifixion; the bread is the body that was broken for us; the wine is the blood that is shed and splatted on the Mercy Seat by Him for the sinner.

After the meal was completed, he rose and washed the feets of the disciples and then they sung a hymn and went out in the night in the Mount of Olives...

Jesus was very solemn in his speech as they walked out of the Upper Room and entered into the night along the path to the Garden of Gethsemane, He said to them from Mark 14:27-28 of the Amplified Bible (AMP)

27...“You will all fall away [and be ashamed and be afraid to be associated with Me as disciples], because it is written, ‘’I will strike the Shepherd, and the sheep will be scattered.‘’  But after I have been raised [from the dead], I will go ahead of you to Galilee.”...

‘’WHAT MUST I DO TO GET IT’’?  Hello everyone this is the Grover Weaver Ministries.org Blogtalk Radio Show commentary on the International Sunday School Lesson on Mark 10:17-31 for the week of March 13, 2016

“What must I do to inherit eternal life?’’, is the E F Hutton’s answer to the question when the public asks ‘’HOW CAN I LIVE FOREVER?’’ it’s a public who listens in silence to know the answer. Dearly Beloved, so much is promised in that life after this death, Islam promises to her warriors, virgins if you died fighting for Allah; Christianity promises the Bride of Christ a mansion with many rooms, streets paved with gold in a land where there is no more tears...

“What must I do to inherit eternal life?’’, it is the question in verse 17 the rich young ruler ran, kneeled and asked the Good Master...

The message of verse 21 is the redistribution of wealth and discipleship. Spare yourself the grief that’s in verse 22 and give to the poor, fight for social justice, join the Christian Army become a soldier in the war on poverty and advocate for Medicare for All; for ‘’Money’’ is all that it is said to be: the root of evil or the source of hope. You chose.

It’s the root of evil of money that causes billionaires and millionaires to pool their money in government approve Super Pacs for the purpose of their privacy when they purchase politicians to oppress America’s Democracy for them so they can be a small government with lower taxes, less regulations for business and a strong military to protect geopolitical globetrotting around the world deny health care which is a human right, a government that's privatize all social services or block grant them to state and local governments so there will be less for the poor...
