The controversy surrounding who can use a restroom in America has sparked an international discussion. We want a peice of that so this week we're talking about who gets to use the potty and who doesn't. The American people seem to be more than a little squeamish when it comes to bodily excretions and secretions in general and pee and poop in particular. It seems like so much silliness to most inhabitants of planet Earth who are have a much more practical attitude about bathroom sensibilities. Join us for a discussion on this tittilating topic. We're on-air tonight, Thursday 7/30/2015, 9:30PM PDT Don't miss it!

Join us this week on Christian Devotions SPEAK UP! when Scott interview Beth Saadati.
Beth Saadati has sown her time and heart into the lives of hundreds of teens—and reaped an abundance of laughter and life in return. A certified high school English teacher, she is currently teaching composition classes, homeschooling her son (age nine) and daughter (age twelve), and crafting a novel.
For more than two decades Beth has taught in public school, private school, and home school settings. Jenna, Beth's effervescent firstborn daughter, was her favorite teenage student before Beth lost her, without warning, to suicide resulting from bullying. On January 2, 2013, the world as Beth had known it forever changed.
Now, through speaking and writing, Beth encourages others to fight through heartbreak and hurt as she transparently journeys through the painful aftermath of her beloved daughter's death. Four of Beth’s stories have been published in Chicken Soup for the Soul books in 2015. She was also awarded first place in the SC chapter of American Christian Fiction Writers' first five pages contest.
Beth is working on a young adult novel, Breathe, based on Jenna's true story. At the 2015 Blue Ridge Mountains Christian Writers Conference (BRMCWC), this book received the BelieversTrust Beyond the Steeple Award for the work deemed to hold the greatest potential to impact a mainstream audience.

Join us as we share an hour with Beth Martens .."create your life or someone else will" ...
An emotional and spiritual leader, Beth Martens has a knack for offering people the opportunity to explore life at a deeper level. People who engage with her are taken on a journey of music, yoga, meditation, and spiritual and emotional awakening. Offering inspiration through sharing her life story as a two-time cancer survivor, Beth Martens has been quietly discovered by a niche market who follow her career with high affinity.
Bringing and "eastern" approach to the Western World, Beth Martens uses soul-driven lyrics and fully produced/orchestrated music to attract an audience into an experience, rather than just offering an additional song or two to add to one's iPod. Musician, Yoga Instructor, Singer, Songwriter, and Kirtan Leader are just a few of the hats worn by Martens, as she continues to offer new unique experiences to those who have discovered her career.
A gang shootout results in a flood of victims in the ER. John tries to halt the escalating violence, but to succeed he must navigate rival gang members and the police. Meanwhile, Gretchen tends to the young woman who sparked the bloodshed.
