One of the product ranges that we talked about was Truly Inspired! - which is the range that I created and hand-make to order. There is a wealth of information about it here www.TrulyInspired.com.au and it is available online at EcoHealthSolutions.com.au/store
The book that I refer to is The Chemical Maze by Bob Statham (ISBN 095785354-8) which is also available as an app.
Beth Bond, the Curator of Green and Sustainable Business News at Southeast Green. As a Southerner, Bond was tired of hearing about everything "green" happening outside her native region which is what drove her to create the website.
Owning her own marketing company for over 15 years and working with green companies, Beth knew the story of sustainability and green resided here in the Southeast. There was just no one place to tell the cohesive story of all the things that are happening in the Southeast. Since relaunching Southeast Green in September 2008, Bond has been establishing even broader liaisons and partners to help continue the story of green and sustainability.
Bond serves on a variety of boards and committees in the Atlanta sustainable community. They include Steering Committee for Earth Hour 08 and 09, Co-Chairing Earth Hour in 2010 for the City of Atlanta along with sustainable business leader Derek Jacoby of the Jacoby Group, Decatur Green Fest 09-10, Let's Raise a Million Power Partner, DeKalb County Green Commission and was selected as Champion of the Week in the Champion Newspaper in November 2009. In 2011 she joined the board at Georgia Interfaith Power and Light. In December of 2011 the Georgia Solar Energy Association awarded Beth with a Solar Advocate of the Year award.
Join Laurie Beth as she inverview Derek Penwell about his forthcoming book from Chalice Press, The Mainliner’s Survival Guide to the Post-Denominational World, about how mainline denominations can avoid despair in an emerging world.
Derek is an author, editor, speaker, and activist. He is the senior minister of Douglass Boulevard Christian Church (Disciples of Christ) in Louisville, Kentucky and a lecturer at the University of Louisville in Religious Studies and Humanities. He has a Ph.D. in humanities from the University of Louisville. He is the author of articles ranging from church history to aesthetic theory and the tragic emotions. He currently edits a blog on emergence Christianity, dmergent.org, and blogs at his own site. You can also find him on Twitter & Facebook
President Barack Obama announced today that he is making changes to the immigration enforcement policy of his administration by force of executive order. This has caused Republicans to cry foul and ruminate on the media about their plans to block Obama's plans. Join Ken and Beth as they discuss the very contentious issues surrounding the immigration issue and also, if time permits, the ramifications of the use of executive order. Every dog is special, but some people are lucky enough to have dogs that in some way touch the hearts of everyone. In this show you will meet three people who have or have worked with such dogs. Before our feature guests, Dr. Jason Nicholas will give us some pet safety tips for the holidays.
Our first feature guest is Eric Ristau, the producer and director of the new documentary film, Sit Stay Ride: The Story of America's Sidecar Dogs. This film tells the stories of several people who travel on motorcycles with their dog in a side car such as the man confined to a wheel chair, and the senior dog with health issues that has new energy for life when riding in the sidecar and feeling the open air blowing in his face and bringing a steady stream of new smells and sensations.
Next you will meet Madalyn Ruggiero, who will share with us the legacy of her dog Denali who fell to nasal cancer but lived every day to the fullest spreading joy and love. It is not a story of sorrow, but one of hope.
Lastly, you will meet Richard Nash and Hudson the Railroad Puppy, who was found nailed to railroad tracks and is now living a happy life with a prosthetic leg and working as a therapy dog for children with prosthetics.
If you love dogs and the special bond they have with us, don't miss these stories. It is guaranteed to put a smile on your face and a desire to hug your dog!

Showing Your Horse Love
By expressing love to your horse it helps to build a good relationship and strong bond. This will lead to a better response from your horse.
If you don't have respect on the ground, you won't have it on the saddle. Respect is an essential part of horsemanship and it begins with good ground manners
Obedience comes with consistent training. This teaches your horse what you expect and how to quickly respond to the cues given.
Loyalty between the horse and trainer
It all begins with gaining trust. Your initial approach is extremely important. It takes patience and time to get your horse to gain faith in you.

“Each One Teach One.” We need all hands on deck
Mike Bond writes socially-conscious thrillers inspired by his real-life experiences. His Aloha State thriller, SAVING PARADISE (Mandevilla Press) played a role in stopping the Big Wind and the Inter-island Cable Project in Hawaii. This project would have destroyed major parts of Molokai, Lanai and Maui. In addition to drastic environmental and social effects on all three islands, it would have had a catastrophic impact on whales, dolphins and other ocean species including endangered monk seals and turtles.
Bond, a Maine native, has also been active in Maine environmental issues, creating http://savingmaine.org/ to raise awareness about the potential dangers industrial wind development might pose to Maine’s environment.
Mike Bond is a bestselling novelist, environmental activist, war and human rights correspondent and award-winning poet who has worked in many remote, dangerous parts of the world. His critically acclaimed novels depict the innate hunger of the human heart for what is good, the intense joys of love, the terror and fury of battle, the sinister conspiracies of international politics and multinational corporations, and the beauty of the vanishing natural world.
