Join host Dave Etter and various callers as the MenSpouses discuss past MSA events they have attended. You will laugh, cry, get angry, maybe even call in and give your two cents worth! (516) 453-9167.
MMSRS is a weekly 2-hour web-based radio show, hosted by Dave Etter, focusing on the needs of men married to serving military members, both men and women. Male Military Spouses are a small niche of military spouses, comprising of only 7%-8% of all military spouses. We feel left out, usually, at support functions - especially those designed with the spouses being identified as "wives"! We get cajoled at playgrounds where our kids play, from the mommies there who think we don't belong. We are proud SAHDs, who gave up our careers to follow our spouses as they dedicate thier lives to defend our country! Here, on this show, we come together and share beer recipes, diaper changing techniques, financial discoveries - manly things, for men! Airs Fridays at Noon CT, rated R for the cussing that can occur, and available for download (podcast) immediately following each show.

Lost Rider's "legends of Rock" Biography Series of Famous Guitar Players and Bands continues with the Legendary, Stevie Ray Vaughn. Stevie Ray Vaughan, who died just 36 days short of his 36th birthday, played with blistering, note-bending intensity, a gut-wrenching vibrato and tons of soul. His all-too abbreviated legacy-five albums as a leader and a number of powerful sideman stints - ended with a long overdue collaboration with older brother Jimmie Lee Vaughan, on the posthumously released Family Style. A well-balanced mixture of driving rock and roll, smooth R&B, earthy funk and heartfelt blues, the album took SRV full circle, back to his South Dallas days, paying tribute to the music the Vaughan boys listened to and loved in the Sixties and Seventies.

Price, who guests on Freedom's Gate with host Kevin Fobbs insists that her son’s death and the deaths of the others were a result of a cover up.

According to an article on The Wild Hunt dated 5/14/15: "The Great Lakes Naval Recruit Training Command (RTC), where enlisted Navy recruits go for Basic Training, has stopped religious services for six minority religious designations. This includes “Earth-Centered” worship. In place of the weekly community worship service led by a volunteer civilian faith leader, trainees have been told that they will have an hour of private “contemplation and reflection.” In response, Pagan civil rights group Lady Liberty League is working to change what they, and other religious rights groups, consider a discriminatory practice." Please follow the above linkf or the entire article.
This comes on the tails of the U.S. Veterans' Association approving the Pentacle and other Pagan religious symbols for use on military graves as well as various branches of the military recently approving Heathenry and other Pagan faiths as legitimate religions for personnel. Along with Lady Liberty League, the Military Religious Freedom Foundation and other groups are looking into what can be done to correct this injustice for our services members. MRFF has gone so far as to threaten to sue of the discrimination. All of this and more can be found in the Wild Hunt article.
RevKess and KaliSara will address this and other issues that effect the Pagan community in this episode of Pagan Weekly News.
When God calls and assigns His leaders, He also gives us His strategy—His word and wisdom to work His plan for victory. In the journey, God will guide us, be patient with us and sift us. Sometimes, He takes us deep until all that’s left is a heart Of gold.
There are many different types of people in this world; introverts and extroverts, organized and not. Not every job is for every personality type – many people look to Myer’s Briggs personality tests for more about who they are personality-wise, but it also can come down to common sense. Someone who is an analyzer would most likely be an accountant, while someone who is head of sales would be an energizer. In this episode we will discuss how to figure out your personality type and some good jobs for each basic type.
