NEW UPCOMING SEASON PREMIER - SEPTEMBER 4TH 2014
"FOR THE SEASONED & MATURE ADULTS"
Tonight's show is a repeat of a popular show from July 23, 2013. The topic was Trayvon Martin. Listen and reflect on today's concerns regarding the shooting death of Michael Brown.
The conversation will be guided by the DR. MICHAEL E. HODGE, Chair of the Department of Sociology at Morehouse College; the REVEREND THOMAS BOWEN, Chaplin of the Morehouse Alumni Chapter, DC and Minister of Fellowship and Outreach at Shiloh Baptist Church in Washington, DC; and MR. TOM BACOTE, Morehouse alumnus who is based in Johannesburg, South Africa, serving as the Country Program Director for the Southern Africa Office of the American Center for International Solidarity.
To some Trayvon Martin is the “other brother”… the unfortunate one, the one who got caught, the one who was in the wrong place at the wrong time, and, to some, he is simply the one who was a victim in a rather tragic story. But are we missing a powerful truth… is Trayvon Martin your son or brother? Is Trayvon Martin America’s son? Does Trayon's story mirror hidden and blatant racism? Listen and decided for yourself. Call in and share your thoughts.
Tonight's show is a repeat of a popular show from Feb 2014. Enjoy!

Tell all books usually tell too much about the person writing it!
Strange bed fellows...romance is a rollercoaster ride that tests our true love and friendships
The sequel lets us see how the characters have progressed and shows us that everything swept under the carpet does not always stay there. Reconciling deeply hurt feelings may take years and more than it seems you're capable of doing, but when you love someone it is always worth the effort.
Can our past truly be forgiven or forgotten? These movies give a lovely lighthearted view of such psychological concepts while providing plenty of wonderful music, laughs and beautiful people to look at!
TONIGHT's show is a repeat from Aug 27, 2013... ENJOY!
The Rev. Graylan S. Haglar is the Senior Minister of Plymouth Congregational United Church of Christ in Washington, DC. He has a leading presence with Respect DC, a coalition of grassroots-based organizations, pastors, workers, environmentalists, parents, students and community members concerned about the quality of life in DC’s communities and committed to securing decent, living wage jobs. Rev. Hagler also has been a supporting voice for the passage of the Large Retailer Accountability Act of 2013(LRAA), which calls for large retailers operating stores of 75,000 square feet or more, and whose parent company generates more than $1 billion in revenues annually, to provide workers a “living wage” of $12.50 per hour, including benefits.
Rev. Hagler is the social justice minister, fighting for economic and social justice. As National President of Ministers for Racial, Social and Economic Justice he delivered a passionate speech in 2012 to the assembled crowd at a rally to call out Congress for their collusion with Big Energy. http://www.youtube.com/watch?feature=player_embedded&v=LsVft_lur4w
