This program is about an intimate quest, one that you might easier overlook for something bigger, grander, and more celebrated. My guest can understand why that might happen, which is why she’s on this quest to create a space for this very personal experience for herself and all those who stand in this space with her.
This program is about loss, grieving, remembering and honoring.
My guest tonight, Ellen Pearlman, has found a quest in writing about the loss of a best friend; quoting Harold Ivan Smith, author of Grieving the Death of a Friend, he writes, “The death of a friend is one of the most significant (and) unrecognized experiences of grief in American culture.”
Ellen is at the beginning of this journey and her way to honor, mourn, remember and reconcile is to invite others to participate in what she’s created - The Loss Project. So, if you’ve ever grieved the loss of a best friend, join us for this very personal and passionate program.
Ellen Pearlman is the co-author of Fast Forward, a book about the impact of the Internet published May 2000 by William Morrow. Ellen is currently President of her own consultancy specializing in media strategies and content development.
Ms. Pearlman has served as a board member for Cybergrrl, a site dedicated to transforming women’s lives through technology; strategic advisor to the Billion Minds Foundation, a worldwide non-profit organization dedicated to furthering global knowledge and innovation; chairwoman of the business advisory council of World Pulse, a social media enterprise covering global issues through women’s eyes; member of the advisory board of Care2.com, an online network for people who want to make a difference.

Was Hulk Hogan Framed we will talk Tuesday 8 pm est here's what happened Friday: “WWE terminated its contract with Terry Bollea (aka Hulk Hogan). WWE is committed to embracing and celebrating individuals from all backgrounds as demonstrated by the diversity of our employees, performers and fans worldwide.”This all but confirms the now widespread rumors that Hogan was involved in some sort of racial incident in an audio interview online; a rumor that has been making its rounds since late Thursday night when the story first broke. Wrestlezone is working to confirm these rumors, and will provide updates as they become available.

This show is about God and how He's been my best Friend my whole life. I've done nothing to deserve His love and Friendship but He's always been there.
He knows exactly what to say and do. He told me I was beautiful when I looked in the mirror and saw just a puffy white ugly marshmellow of a woman. He uses me to encourage and speak to you not because I'm perfect but because I was so screwed up in so many ways.
I've learned His love never fails, even when I do. There is nothing I could ever do on my own to deserve a Friend who cares about every detail of my life...but He doesn't expect me to Earn His Friendship...He simply wants me to be His friend and hang out with him just like all my other friends do.
God wants to be your Best Friend to and trust me he loves you just the way you are!
