SORT BY Relevancy
If it seems like 23-year-old Cody Karey has been preparing his entire life for his self-titled Verve Records debut album, that’s just because it’s true. From the moment the then-18-month-old rose from his high chair to warble along with “Achy Breaky Heart” at a Pizza Hut somewhere in north British Columbia, and received a standing ovation, Karey’s destiny was sealed.
The latest world-class tenor pop vocalist discovered by label Chairman David Foster—who has a track record for that sort of thing—Karey’s bow has attracted some impressive talent, including Grammy-winning producer Walter Afanasieff (Mariah Carey, Luther Vandross, Celine Dion, Lionel Richie), ASCAP Songwriter of the Year Bernie Herms (Brad Paisley, The Tenors, CeCe Winans, Casting Crowns, Jackie Evancho). Greg Wells (Adele), Josh Kear (Lady Antebellum) and Ryan Tedder (One Republic, Leona Lewis and Beyonce).
“This is the culmination of many years of work and a lifetime’s worth of focus,” says Karey. “It’s very exciting to be on the cusp of getting it out there to people, and being able to take one more step in the direction of my ultimate dream.”
Join Cody Karey on YTP RADIO this evening at 8:00pm (e.s.t.) for am evening of pure delight, magnificent music, and an exciting story!

We're back from vacation with much to discuss. The NFL's and Roger Goodell's decision to suspend Ray Rice for two games after video surfaced of him dragging his unconcious then-girlfriend/now-wife from an elevator has been making the rounds so much that discussion of this decision by media members has become a story all of it's own. ESPN announced today that they would suspend pundit Stephen A. Smith for one week for comments he made discussing the incident on "First Take" (which he has since apologized for approximately 4 times, including once on the same program). Menawhile, in Cleveland, reports of Josh Gordon testing positive for marijuana have come under question after he claims that it could be from "second-hand" smoke... and he may actually be telling the truth. Marcus and Darryl will shake off the rust and attempt to make sense of these and other stories on tonight's edition of the program. Tune in!
Listen in as we discuss Ray Rice, Josh Gordon, Stephen A Smith and the way that punishments are meted out in sports. Should we expect more, less, or indifferent? Plus, Nth Degree and Study Hall segments. Let's go...Join us live at 347.857.2729

We understand your fear of The Boogeyman, no not the man under the bed our next guest, Dean Lister. Dean is set to face off with Josh Barnett at Metamoris 4. This could be a great match up, we will talk to Dean about how the match came to be, what he feels is Josh’s biggest threat, and if he plans on calling how he will win the match.
