    Sam Scarfo - @SamScarfo

Sam Scarfo is a gifted songwriter who began his musical career with local emcees from his hometown of Plainfield, New Jersey. Bubbling under the surface for years, he calmly created a movement powerful enough to catch the attention of acclaimed video director Bennie Boom. As a former battle champion and Def Jam artist, Scarfo has released his own independent albums like The Package in 2012 and 5 Million Stories in 2014.

Sam signed a management deal with IBC Entertainment in 2003 with hopes of securing a major label deal. With limited media resources available in the Garden State, Scarfo decided to enter the underground New York City battle circuit to attract attention to himself and his own record label, Gorilla Pimp Recordings.

CUFFED? A Film About Addiction, Recovery and Life With Angelica Hester

    in Movies

Today it's with great pleasure that I welcome to the show director, editor, producer and creator of Little Birdie Films, Angelica Hester. Angelica is here with us to talk about her latest project, an feature length documentary film called CUFFED? a film that's meant to explore the most important questions about addiction, recovery and life.

CUFFED? follows the lives of Amir, Daniel, Bart, Tonya, and Gary, all people who have been irreversibly affected by addiction. Their stories are accompanied by expert commentary from highly regarded doctors, therapists, and government officials who have dedicated their lives to the study and treatment of this disease. CUFFED? highlights the arguments of both pro- and anti-Methadone groups in order to investigate the administration, use and misuse of Methadone. In addition to the discussion of current methods of treatment, CUFFED? also brings to light different programs in development to combat addiction without pharmaceutical substitutes. The effectiveness of one-on-one counseling, meditation, 12-step, and yoga are all explored.

To get involved and support CUFFED? through their Kickstarter campaign, Click Here.

To check out CUFFED? on Facebook, Click Here and for Twitter, Click Here.

Some college degrees are mixed in. And, all along the way they try to give a voice to those ignored by the status quo.  Somehow, they entertain us all in the process.

Segments include but are not limited to:  Word Phrase; Fish Fry; Quiz; Blue-Collar Jobs; Wisconsin War Casualties; News and Comment; and..., Burgers.

You need to ask Dadio and his crew some questions..., the man comes with his own support group that is prepared and ready to pull him out of the holes he invariably digs himself into!

Call the show, play the quiz, win, make Dadio buy you a beverage at a local watering hole!
