Benjamin Day of the United Health Care Cycling team joins us to discuss Stage 4 of the US Pro Cycling Challenge held today in Colorado Springs. After a ceremonial start at the world famous Broadmoor, the race will head into town and join up with a 16-mile circuit that will be raced four times. With climbs through Garden of the Gods, Mesa Rd. and the infamous Ridge Rd., which hits grades of nearly 17 percent, the route will present some challenges for the riders. If a sprinter hangs on to win, they will have earned it the hard way.
Beyond Paranormal Research Group evolved after Ben and Cheryl Ledoux had worked with other paranormal research groups. Not always getting the answers they needed or wanted. Their questions only grew to be more and more. Their need for answers beyond ghosts and spirits had increased. Suddenly everything they had been taught as children was now a mystery. What would possess someone, raised in a faith alien to Christianity to publically change his/her faith and risk the scorn and persecution from their former co-religionists? Money? Social standing? Certainly there've been cases like that. Benjamin Disraeli would never have become prime minister of Britain if his father Isaac had remained a Jew. In old Europe Jews would sometimes convert and join the state church to take advantage of financial and social benefits in wider society, even though in meant offending and scandalizing family and friends and cutting the ties that bind a man to his culture and heritage. In recent months, certain high-profile Muslim conversions to gospel faith have been well-publicized and done at great personal risk. This Thursday we discuss this higher motive for conversion: the motive of personal conviction without consideration of any worldly gain. Your host: Rev. Rick Anderson on "Jewish Roots", an Internet radio talk show at www.blogtalkradio.com/fougcrew . To call in with a question or comment: 347-324-5759.
Many reasons we have for not becoming what we desire. Sometimes it is those old established beliefs that hold us back, not even realizing it. We need to break those old beliefs, if we ever want to become greater than we've ever been.
"Being realistic is the most commonly traveled road to mediocrity. It’s unrealistic to flip a light switch and lights comes on. It’s unrealistic to bend a piece of metal and fly people over the ocean in that metal. Luckily the Wright Brothers and Benjamin Franklin didn’t think so. Thinking realistically hinders innovation and growth." Will Smith
"All our dreams can come true, if we have the courage to pursue them." Walt Disney
So how can we shift these self-limiting beliefs into something more empowering? Tune in to find out.

Growing up as a raw vegan kid, Daniel always had a different view on food and health than his fellow classmates and friends. But being different was never really a concern to him since he knew the reasoning behind his food choices.
Rather than fitting in, Daniel was always more intrigued with encouraging others make healthier food choices. He was convinced that if others were exposed to reliable information they would make drastic diet and lifestyle changes. It wasn’t until his 3rd year of elementary school that Daniel began actively speaking on the topic in public. It all began one day when his teacher asked him to present before the class about his diet. After talking to his classmates about the dangers of GMOs, many began to trash their candy and unhealthy snacks and others told him how they switched to healthier alternatives at home. Daniel was thrilled and created a series of health presentations for kids. In May 2014, Daniel spoke at March Against Monsanto Vancouver. Little did he know, his words would not only leave the crowd memorized, but make headlines as one of the greatest speeches for MAM Worldwide! Shortly after, Daniel spoke at the VegExpo, David Wolfe’s events and participated in interviews with personalities such as Rachel Parent and Jeffrey M. Smith.

Benjamin Day of the United Health Care Cycling Team joins us for an insider view of US Pro Cycling Challenge Stage 2. United Health Care is having a great race with Kiel Riejnen now wearing the Sprint Jersey. Stage 2 opens fast by ripping down the Aspen Valley through the sprint cities of Basalt and Carbondale before tackling the 8,700 ft. McClure Pass. A short descent brings the race to Gunnison County road 12, which is a 20-mile rollercoaster that constantly changes from pavement to dirt and back again, while topping out at 9,900 ft. over Kebler Pass. A technical descent into Crested Butte brings the race back to familiar terrain. As in 2011 and 2012, the race will finish up with a sprint through downtown Crested Butte and the steep finish climb up to Mt. Crested Butte.
