Behind The Curtain welcomes retired police detective John A. Cameron for a discussion on the most notorious serial killer you've never heard of—Edward Wayne Edwards, who allegedly killed scores of people over a sixty-six-year period and was never caught (for murder). Cameron described Edwards' tragic childhood, noting that he was born in 1933 at the height of the Great Depression, raised by an aunt while his mother served out her prison term, and eventually placed into an orphanage at age five. "By time he's eight years old... he's been sexual abused by the older boys, beaten by nuns for bedwetting, and turns into a psychopathic monster," Cameron revealed.
Edwards' experiences at the orphanage destroyed him spiritually, compelling him to rebel against Catholicism and embrace Satanism and the teachings of occultist Aleister Crowley, Cameron continued. At age eleven Edwards was a full-fledged sadomasochist and had committed three gruesome murders in the Chicago area, he added. Cameron said he connected Edwards to the Chicago 'Lipstick' murders after tying him to a series of 'Lovers Lane' killings in Great Falls, Montana in 1956. Edwards left behind messages at the Chicago murder scenes that appeared to have been written by a young person and was smart enough to steer the evidence toward an innocent person, he explained.
Tonights guest is Lynda & Viktor Salazar......
Viktor Salazar To whom much is given…much is required. Viktor Salazar, Corpus Christi, Texas native has been characterized as a Clairvoyant/ light mediumship/Paranormal researcher with a keen sense of spiritual discernment rooted in Christianity. He was groomed for evangelical ministry and recognized by elders of the Church as his spiritual path developed earning him an ordination as Deacon, not teaching condemnation, but the power of love through demonstration. Continuously dithering between two worlds of spiritualism, he eventually journeyed beyond the four walls of the church to further his knowledge. Born into a family of Cuanderos (traditional Native American healers or shamans found in the United States and in Latin America) intrigued his interest and passion to understand his calling and face the darker side of the para-spectrum. He quickly learned through personal supernatural experiences that not everything is as it appears. Viktor’s journey led to one of the most terrifying experiences of his life-a story featured on Travel Channel’s "Ghost Adventures" and Bio’s "My Ghost Story." Although this was just a glimpse from others perspective, he has chosen to share his experiences along with his wife Lynda Salazar through speaking engagements and in a forthcoming book detailing his journey. Viktor now devotes his time to scientific understanding of paranormal exploration to help others who remain in a realm of domination by supernatural oppression.
RN Steffany Barton of Angelsinsight.com is joining us tonight for a special edition of Behind The Curtain. She is a pshycic medium who will be attending the Arkansas Paranormal EXPO this weekend. We can't wait to hear what she has to say.

Rhonda Burton and Debbie Saylor are the founders of Arkansas Ghost Catchers which was founded in 2008. Both have 10 years experience in paranormal investigating. Arkansas Ghost Catchers has 6 female members, which are all friends. Many exciting investigations have happened over the last years, both good and bad. This is why Rhonda founded the Arkansas Paranormal Expo Benefit for MacArthur Museum, to help preserve the history and beauty of the building.
Guest: Lindsay Espinoza, California Pet Lover's License Plate Campaign
We've met Lindsay at several pet events across California and are excited to have her on our program. In addition to her work with Found Animals.org, she is often the public face of this campaign. The California Pet Lover's License plate, sponsored by the California Veterinary Medical Board, is a new specialty license plate. Proceeds from the plate will provide funding for free or low-cost spay & neuter surgeries across California, while the visibility of the plate itself will help to raise awareness about the importance of spaying and neutering. California state law requires the sale of 7,500 pre-orders before the plate goes into production and the program becomes official. To date, just over 2,700 pre-orders have been received so about 5,000 more are needed. Once 7,500 orders are received, money from each plate sold and from renewals will go to the California Spay and Neuter License Plate Fund to support S/N statewide. The Fund will distribute money via a grant application process to cities and counties to support free and low cost spay and neuter programs through clinics, shelters and vouchers redeemable at local veterinarians. -------- About Behind the Curtain: In the "Wizard of OZ" there was a man behind the curtain who showed people that they already had everything they needed and desired... We've created a BlogTalkRadio program where our guests include those hero's and champions who dedicate themselves to make a difference with people and our animal companions. Most of these organizations are well known and make amazing differences in their communities, but the people behind the curtain, those that spend countless hours, often don't seek the spotlight and we want to share their stories and passion with you.
Our guests this week: C.A.R.E.4Paws Director Isabelle Gullo located in Santa Barbara.
C.A.R.E.4Paws—short for community awareness, responsibility and education—was created with the mission to help put an end to pet overpopulation in Santa Barbara County, and to inspire a greater sense of accountability, compassion and respect for animals in the process.
A 501(c)3 nonprofit, C.A.R.E.4Paws serves as an umbrella organization for local shelters and rescues. We support and collaborate closely with these groups—as well as the Humane Society and Santa Barbara County Animal Services—to boost pet retention, increase adoptions, lower the number of unwanted pets born and, ultimately, decrease the amount of adoptable animals found in shelters and euthanized each year.
To make our mission a reality, C.A.R.E.4Paws has implemented several programs that in a short period of time have had a significant impact on the community:
Bilingual & Bicultural Community Outreach / Spay & Neuter Assistance / Dog Training Intervention / Adoption Events / The Pet Shop Project

Our guest tonight started this ride to free her home from an illegal and now known fraudulent foreclosure in 2009. She is not an attorney, real estate agent or anything labeled "expert". However, she has come to understand that if it is written or recorded it is knowable. That is what the perpetrators of this housing collapse don't want you to know.
After becoming aware of acts against our liberties and freedoms in the early 80's, she has run for government office 7 times, openly advocated for families abused, by both the courts and the government, testified before our legislative body numerous times on the legal and social abuses of our Constitutional rights associated with the family. For 2 years she advocated for the institution of a Constitutional public defender system (which is a story for a later date). Through her advocacy and political activism she has learned to look behind the curtain... Long time resident and defender of freedom, Kandi Matthew-Jenkins, from Missoula Montana.
Guests: Raad Mobrem, Co-Founder and CEO plus Chase McElroy, Co-Founder and CFO, Dura Doggie. While attending college at the University of California at Santa Barbara, three students met inside the Harold Frank hall to learn that we would be creating a “fake” product along with a “fake” company for our course in entrepreneurism. After many brainstorm sessions and a plethora of critical thinking, the team decided to stick with our first and most simple idea…a dog toy. A dog toy so great and so amazing that it would cure all the world’s problems. Well, that was our goal.
The day of the presentation, the class sat in anticipation to hear our words about the “pet world” and boy did we come through. To make it even better, we actually produced a toy for the class and not a single group in the history of the course did so for this assignment, until we came along. By the end of the class, we were throwing a Dura Doggie™ product to a high demand of students that were both thrilled and shocked that they had a physical toy in their hands. The air was crisp and the night was late, but energy was flying for the new Dura Doggie™ Company.
With "Chews Your Cause" the color of the toy lets buyers support Animals, Breast Cancer, Diabetes or the Planet.
