  • Super Cop helps SUPER HERO FIGHT CANCER

    in Culture

Please join host Frankie Picasso for a very special show on Thursday August 27th when my guest is Police Constable Gareth Ward who is campaigning diligently to help his super hero buddy, 5 year old Luke Brewer and family fly to America where Luke will be treated for cancer in October.

Luke was recently diagnosed with Rabdomysocoma, a type of sarcoma that attacks connective tissue and usually hits children 1 to 5 years old.  As treatment is unavailable in the UK, Luke and his family need to come to the USA and the course of therapy will take 7 weeks.

Gareth hopes to raise enough to bring the family for treatment and have a little left over to send Luke to Disneyland as a special treat for the brave little man.

To date, Gareth has been able to raise a little over £1000, but this is still a long way off the target of £2000 he needs.

In addition to the Go Fund ME site:     http://gofundme.com/lukethesuperhero     Gareth is also planning to raise money by participating in a 9bar9x9 running event in Luke’s name. This is an 81km endurance run held in Guildford, Kent, UK, on 10 October and Gareth will be running it in full police gear weighing approximately 42 lbs. In addition to all of this, Gareth also designed some amazing super hero wrist bands that are also a fund raiser and can be purchased on Facebook by going to https://www.facebook.com/permalink.php?story_fbid=427589130758195&id=232219716961805

Please join us to help raise money for Luke and CALL US to send your POSITIVE MESSAGES of LOVE to Luke who I know will listen to the show and love to hear your words of encouragement.

V3 is the personification of John’s ministry in Matthew 3: v11 ‘’I, indeed, baptize you with water unto repentance, but he who cometh after me is mightier than I...

V4 is a longing for the relationship God had with his people in the past...

V5 begin, ‘’I will come...in judgement...I will be swift…’’; is the last promise and the last prayer and the last provision in the Church Age

V6 is God confirming a promised to show mercy to Jacob's Children.

V7’s scolds the Jews slack behavior for not keeping His ordinances from the days of their fathers...

V8, ‘’Will a man rob God?”

    God’s World from God’s Perspective

    in Christianity

Activation in the seed truth that is in every truly born again “new creature.” We’ve been given “the ministry of reconciliation” and the “word of reconciliation,” that is, His saints who are also Christ’s very “ambassadors.” (2 Cor. 5:17-20)

In order to perfectly fulfill His will, Christ's saints must be possessed with a full counsel view of God and His creation from His perspective. There are no shortcuts to studying and learning His counsel, His Precepts which communicate His very "heart." When we begin to perceive the universe as from our Maker’s perspective, it’s going to transform our view and the mission we are sent to accomplish. The LORD told us that the very "thoughts of his heart" are recorded in His written counsel to us:

"The counsel of the LORD standeth for ever, the thoughts of his heart to all generations." Ps 33:11

Jesus is trying to get us to stop and to see things from the Father's perspective when He states in the end of His discourse on loving our neighbor that we are to be "perfect." (Matt 5:44-48) The Greek word for "perfect" is teleios which is defined as "growth, mental and moral character, completeness, full age (maturity)." The LORD is maturing the perspective of His saints - teaching them His nature and ways, therefore transforming the way they view the world and fallen men around them. Pour prayerfully over our LORD's words recorded in Matt 5:44-48.

Our prayer is that God's people would be activated in doing what is already in them. As they are following Jesus, He has put His will inside of them which He stated to be seeking and saving that which was lost (Lk 19:10). This is His overriding desire to restore men back to full and complete relationship and the very and stated reason the Father sent His only begotten Son (Jn 17:3).

Loneliness in a Crowded World; What Surrounds Loneliness in Todays World?

    in Motivation

We do not have to be alone to feel lonely. We can feel lonely in a room full of people. What are the markers of feeling lonely and why would we make a choice to be alone? There are many reasons that we talk about and many things that we have not yet put into words. Our wounds and our strengths come together when we make decisions and the decisions we make can be looked at in a different light when we can see passed the wounds. Sometimes we choose being alone because we get so busy in our heads that we are alone solving our lives that our lifetimes are affected when it could all be different and when do not feel we are isolated in how we feel. Being alone and loneliness are two different things. What is the difference? Tune in and Join the Conversation Tomorrow Morning at 5:30 AM, PST!

“Who made you judge and jury?”

    in The Bible

    Wednesday Insirational Bible Study - Hosted by Dianne Adams - August 26, 2015 @ 8:30 P.M.

    Matthews 7:1-12

“Who made you judge and jury?”

It has been said that when you point a finger at someone they are several pointing back at you.

Many people use this verse in an attempt to silence their critics, interpreting Jesus’ meaning as “You don’t have the right to tell me I’m wrong.”  They know that their actions don’t line up with the Word of God. but they don’t but feel you have the right to call them out, maybe they know something about you that don’t line up either.
