This should be another discussion-filled episode, as we talk about Nicki Minaj's latest provacative cover art controversey. As we always do, we'll make sure to cover all elements of hip hop in New York City, and this week, the Rock Steady Crew 37th anniversary weekend was a great example of how one of hip hop's pioneering organizations continues to celebrate all aspects of hip hop music and culture.
We'll also talk with Danielle Mastrion who was commissioned to paint a Beastie Boys tribute mural on the corner of Rivington and Ludlow, the iconic intersection on the cover of the group's album Paul's Boutique.
You know we like to go old to the new, so we'll have a bunch of new, noteworthy rap releases to share with you.
So tune in LIVE starting at 10pm, and get ready to call in and discuss with us.
Tune in for the Beastie Boys on vinyl and some jive talk live tonight on The Talking Heads Radio Show. Dig It.

This week our Special guest is the Honorable City of Fort Lauderdale Commissioner Mr. Bobby B. DuBose. The topic we will be discussing is that there are real role models for the youth in our local community, especially for young men. The question we will be asking is "Can I really be somebody?"
Commissioner DuBose was elected to the Fort Lauderdale City Commission District III seat on March 10, 2009. On April 5, 2011 Commissioner DuBose was appointed to Vice Mayor until April 2012. He was re-elected unopposed on November 22, 2011. Commissioner DuBose received his Bachelors of Arts degree in Economics from the University of Florida.
He is newly elected to the Florida State House of Representative District 94. He is married to the former Yvette Culver and the proud father of Ethan Joshua and Jacob Emmanuel.

"Like all boys growing up in the early sixties, I was fascinated by space exploration," said Anthony Hose, conductor of the Stetson University Symphony Orchestra. "And, of course, I wanted to be an astronaut."
While it is not quite the same as floating among the stars, Hose did conduct the Stetson University Orchestra performing the American premiere of Voyager written by Warren Greveson, who was inspired by Voyager 1 and 2, two spacecrafts launched in 1977 on a grand tour of the solar system. Voyager is composed for four iPads and an orchestra, and accompanied by a film by Maurice Lock.
In this interview, Hose, Greveson and Lock talk about the music and the inspiration from 37 years of research collected and sent back to Earth by the two Voyager probes.
NEW BROADCAST TIME! 5:00 AM TO 6:00 AM PST.
Brother Bonner is hosting a male Christian, non-denominational prayer assembly of elders, deacons, and brethren.
This broadcast is a call to repentance and prayer for all men, (and boys) who desire to participate in the will of God in these last days. This daily non-denominational, Christian intercessory prayer broadcast is being held for the purpose of restoring family and church order, spiritual growth and unity in the body of Christ.
In addition, our goal is to allow the Kingdom of God to manifest in our lives, as well as experience healing, revival in the end-time church, and obtain the faith to overcome; the daily cares of this world, the deceitfulness of riches, and the lust of things and pleasures of this life.
