This is the season to give thanks for all that we have in our lives. How can we do that more effectively to focus on the good and not take for granted the blessings that are around us. One of my favorite bible verses is 1 Thessalonians 5:18 give thanks in all circumstances; for this is God’s will for you in Christ Jesus. Notice it says "IN" and things not just "FOR" all things. Meaning that both the good and the bad we should still learn to give thanks!

In the "The Mets shouldn't let Dallas Green anywhere near Matt Harvey, Jacob deGrom, or Zack Wheeler" edition, Jeffrey and Chris learn that it is very hard to be Steve Somers as they record their show during the overnight hours. Fortunately there isn't too much important news to talk about, unless you get really agitated about the Rule 5 draft (sheepishly raises hand). So we discuss the newest members of the Mets 40-man roster, who might get snagged at the end of the Winter Meetings, and then we answer a whole lot of e-mails while trying not to doze off facedown on our computers.
Imam Faheem Shuaibe, will address all things that affect and arise from "The Human Condition"; Business, Politics, Education, Culture and Religion.
You can lose so much during a caregiving experience--your time, your freedom, your friends, your hopes. With all those loses, you can start to feel really empty.
So, how do you stay full?
Join us for Care Break with Bruce McIntyre, who cares for his wife, and Jane Northrop, who cares for her daughter, to share how we all stay full.

During the Holidays we get together with a multitude of people. that's what it's all about is people. people at the shopping malls, people gather at celebrations, people, people everywhere. What if your someone who gets triggered by all this interaction. What if you're dreading seeing family members who you anticipate will behave badly? What if you feel drained by all this merriment? Setting boundaries physically and energetically is the gift you give yourself. It's not an act of being stand-offish. It's actually and act of compassion and love towards yourself and all who you encounter. Be ready to submerge yourself in the figgy pudding of love, peace, and gratitude.
