Crimes against humanity I believe what Hitler done to the Jews was a crime against humanity. I believe was Saddam Hussein done to his people was a crime against humanity. I believe what the British done in Africa was a crime against humanity. I believe what Portugal done to the slaves was a crime against humanity. I believe what the Catholic Church done for the two shillings that they gaze to the slaves was a crime against humanity. I believe what the Khmer Rouge done in Vietnam was a crime against humanity, and I also believe what United States of America done to my ancestors was a crime against humanityHow can one expect for the black community to heal for all mistreatment that one on over the past 200 years. If we don't even talk about it or technology for as long as we keep pretending that nothing ever happened. And we all one this going to be no healing process for anonymous until the United States of America own up to his injustices the mistreatment of African-Americans a black folk there can be no healing as long as America thinking they're handing giving us something that can be no healing black folks have nothing to be ashamed of the be in this country will broadly against our will told where to live tour how we can be educated given no financial assistance whatsoever in at a minimum when they decided to give welfare black men were told that they cannot live with their families after coming from a society where the whole world was stacked against us. This WEDNESDAY, March 25, 2014, at 7pm-8pm, C.S.T., The Know Show Welcomes, Rev. Larrye-Marie, Heyl, Minister of the Center for Spiritual Living Southeast Louisiana, (CSLSELA) at 8772 Quarter Lake, Bldg 13, Baton Rouge, LA 70809, Baton Rouge, LA!
My guest on the Know Show this Wednesday from 7-8pm, C.S.T., is creating an awesome Spiritual Presence in Baton Rouge in a beautiful sanctuary nestled in an area that is more reminiscent of a quiet country retreat than a space within the concrete jungle and lends itself nicely to quiet walks amongst beautiful trees and meditation in the space between thoughts as music plays in the beautiful and cozy halls of the sanctuary and the heart space that is surrounded by quiet music, meditation and love. I know that first hand because I was just there last week visiting and speaking to family and friends at that beautiful Center. Rev. Larrye-Marie and I will discuss the importance of community, how to bridge the gap between the old thoughts and ways of yesterday and how to blend that with the new wine of spiritual awareness that requires that we all adapt to change and flow in the direction of the good that is waiting to materialize in our worlds and the worlds of those within our circle of influence, sometimes in spite of our differences, and at times as we embrace our differences.

I'm Modeling A New Image (IMANI) is a 501(c)3 non-profit organization, which assists in mentoring, inspiring and providing an overall enhancement to the quality of life for youth within the community. This wonderful organization is headed by Mr. Michael Gaines and his daughter, Esquita Gaines Shack.
For over 30 years, Michael Gaines has been an advocate for children and families in need of mental health services. His sound clinical practice has been recognized by the Office Of Juvenile Justice, the Department Of Children and Family Services, and Family Roads. Mr. Gaines is a Positive Parent Educator. He is certified in levels 2, 4 and 5 of the program, Triple P Positive Parenting.
Surrounded by the daily interactions of the mental health field, Esquita Gaines Shack started mentoring at a young age. By the time she left for Arkansas and returned for her first Summer Break, Ms. Shack began mentoring children with developmental disabilities. However, it wasn't until nearly 8 years later that Ms. Shack decided to pursue a career in Psychology. Today Esquita Shack works to keep children at risk of out home placement, inside their residence. She provides school interventions throughout the Greater East Baton Rouge Parish and she is certified in levels 2, 3, 4 and 5 of Triple P Positive Parenting.
And now, let's talk psychology with IMANI.
