    Guest:Natalie Johnson/Make-up Artist/The Whole Truth/Left Behind

    in Movies

Natalie Christine Johnson is one of Hollywood South’s most in-demand makeup artists.  With a background in Psychology and a degree in fine arts from the University of New Orleans, Johnson began her career with M.A.C. because a fellow makeup artist happened to like the way she did her makeup when she happened upon her while working in a mall. Natalie used any kind of canvas she could get her hands on and realized that a face was just another medium. She quickly made the move into film and television.  With almost 50 productions under her belt in the past 3 years, Johnson has worked on everything from big budget feature films such as the widely popular Left Behind series with Nicolas Cage, to music videos, network and reality TV, and the Sundance darling Sex, Guaranteed where she met and worked with Stephen Dorff. After working together on that project he later asked her to be his  personal makeup artist for their next project together, The American Hero. Her commercial work ranges from local universities to clients like McDonald’s, Wal-Mart, Visa and the NFL. Expanding from beauty to special effects makeup, Johnson has worked for the last three years as a makeup department head and creative consultant for the independent and festival award winning production company, Little to N.O. Budget Films. Working closely with the director and writers, her vision helped develop worlds of zombies, ghosts, and surreal carnivals. She recently worked on the projects Abattoir and Cold Moon. You can email your questions to 123filmeasy@gmail.com or follow us on Twitter @123Film

The Houston Texans, HBO Sports and NFL Films are teaming up for an all-access look at what it takes to make it in the National Football League when HARD KNOCKS: TRAINING CAMP WITH THE HOUSTON TEXANS debuts in August. The first sports-based reality series – and one of the fastest-turnaround programs on TV – kicks off its five-episode tenth season this summer. Texans Owner Bob McNair and General Manger Rick Smith talk about the team's decision to bare it all and share the behind the scenes stories from camp with the entire nation. NFL Films Supervising Producer Ken Rodgers and Director Matt Dissinger discuss how the show is produced, why they selected the Texans and their goal for the show.              Later in the show we talk with some of the players about the first day of OTA's and their thoughts about being on HARD KNOCKS. Louis Nix is back on the field for the first time, Brian Hoyer is making his Texans' OTA debut and Duane Brown is gearing up for a season with more changes on the offensive line.    The NBA Finals are set after the Houston Rockets fell to the Golden State Warriors in game five of the Western Conference Finals 104-90. Steph Curry and the Warriors will take on LeBron James and the Cleveland Cavaliers. We'll talk about last night's Rockets loss; what this team needs to do to take the next step more.                           There are a lot of headlines topping the sports world this week including the drama surrounding FIFA.
