Listen to the Christian Authors on Tour (CAOT) Blog Talk Radio Show on Friday, 10/9 at 2 p.m. (EST) to hear a LIVE interview with author, Isaac Rowe!
Isaac Rowe - a speaker, mentor, and anger management specialist - is the Founder/CEO of The Man in Me, a non-profit organization that focuses on restoring hope in our generation through educating men and women to create unity in their families, strengthening thoughts in personal development, providing support, and offering resources to build a stronger society. In 2013, Isaac married his beautiful queen, Amber. She and Issac co-founded The Woman in Me; these two - as a couple - are impacting the world in a powerful way.
Isaac's new book is titled, I Love Anger. The book paints a picture of Isaac's life which was riddled with uncontrollable variables in which deposits of anger slipped in below the radar. It was during the most gut-wrenching and darkest times in his life that Isaac realized his weakness and discovered his will to live.
Call (858) 357-8408 to ask questions of the scheduled guest. Don't worry if you can't listen LIVE! Robert Redwine is like JEB BUSH in FLORIDA for the PRESIDENTIAL race - - - NOT DOING SO WELL IN HIS HOMETOWN, HOME STATE. All kidding aside - "what I just said". Redwine needs to have FRESH NEW MATERIAL - I don't mind "oh yeah, babe" but DEVIL IN YOUR BUTT is old. And if the devil WAS in Jay's butt, OR my butt - the world would be HEAVEN, because ALL EVIL would evaporate if the "DEVIL" is the spear head of all wrong doing. And why did I spend a paragraph of writing on ROBERT - oops - should say his name, because he'll become more popular than baked bread. Or is it more popular than fine wines and violins, oh no matter - 347-205-9366. Who will be muted today? If you say something DUMB - YOU WILL BE MUTED!!! 347-205-9366.

Industry Day provides a platform for Transportation Industry professionals to share with students the opportunities available in various career fields of transportation, aviation, construction, and engineering. Industry Day differs from a traditional career fair by offering information through small seminars with dialogue exchange, rather than by exhibits or booths. The event is hosted by the National Association of Black Women in Construction (NABWIC)– South Florida Chapter local sponsors in collaboration with the Booker T. Washington High School Partners.
The specific objectives of Industry Day are:
To give students exposure to role models and possible careers they can consider as well as offering new career choices.
To show the connection between school and real life; how presenters used their education to achieve their goals.
To emphasize careers in STEM (science, technology, engineering and mathematics) and other areas of transportation, aviation, construction and engineering.
To provide students an opportunity to interact with professionals.
Tune in and listen to sponsors, attendees and presenters as they provide their feedback and perspective on one of the most impactful sessions of the year.
You know the one...you say goodmorning and they write a 10,000 word manifesto on white supremacy....They refuse to "allow" anyone in "their" movement who doesnt subscribe 1,000% to every rule they have...Call you out ya name if you hint at disagreement...are we reaching? IS there a such thing as a pro-black extremist? If so...are they leading or ruining our path towards unity? CALL UP AND JOIN THE CONVERSATION 347-855-8692 (PRESS 1 TO SPEAK ON AIR)
This is a black arts and culture site. We will be exploring the African Diaspora via the writing, performance, both musical and theatrical (film and stage), as well as the visual arts of Africans in the Diaspora and those influenced by these aesthetic forms of expression. I am interested in the political and social ramifications of art on society, specifically movements supported by these artists and their forebearers. It is my claim that the artists are the true revolutionaries, their work honest and filled with raw unedited passion. They are our true heroes. Ashay!
