On today's episode of No Foul Play, we will recap ALL of the league action from this past weekend. We will discuss the state of the Barclays Premier League in depth, and we will also preview Matchday number 2 fixtures for the UEFA Champions League. We will also speak on all the other aspects and news from around the world of football, including a huge rally by Manchester United supporters to convince Cristiano Ronaldo to return back to Old Trafford. All of this and more, tonight, at 8:00 PM EST/1:00AM UK!
The latest edition of BDSIR Network Presents: No Foul Play is a jam packed edition!
We will revisit the latest fixtures in both the Barclays Premier League and La Liga, with two marquee matches between Real Madrid vs. Atletico Madrid in the Santiago Bernabeu, and Arsenal taking on Manchester City at the Emirates Stadium. Atletico Madrid took advantage of Real Madrid's poor start to the season. Is Real Madrid is trouble? Can Atletico Madrid actually make another run at the La Liga title? Manchester City traveled to the Emirates Stadium and took a point out of their bitter rivals. However, with Bayern Munich in the horizon in the UEFA Champions League, plus Chelsea in their next fixture in the Barclays Premier League for Manchester City, what can they do to improve their form as they have only taken one point out of their last two fixtures? We will also relive all of the leagues in the Bundesliga, Serie A, Ligue 1, the Argentine Primera Division, Major League Soccer, and the remaining fixtures of both the Barclays Premier League and La Liga.
UEFA Champions League returns on Tuesday and Wednesday with Matchday 1. Two marquee matches in group stage are between Bayern Munich and Manchester City, plus Borussia Dortmund taking on Arsenal. We will preview in-depth both of these fixtures, plus the remaining fixtures of Matchday 1, as well as the UEFA Europa League fixtures.
We will also speak on Ronaldinho Gaucho finally joining a team. Queretaro from Liga MX (Mexican Premier League) have won the rights to this amazing striker. However, he says he will continue to be as controversial as ever and will not change his ways. We will chime in with our thoughts on this.
All of this, and more. Sunday at 7:30 PM EST/12:30 AM United Kingdom time, and you can join the debate by calling 347-637-3859. You can also Skype into the show, or tweet us directly @BDSIRNOFOULPLAY! See you then fans!
The Source360 weekend "festival" hit Brooklyn this weekend, and the big highlight was the Wu-Tang reunion concert at Barclays Center. Not sure what else it might have accomplished, but we'll be discussing festivals, and the influence of magazines like The Source.
Since we've been known to talk a bit about the state of New York's hip hop radio, we'll chat a bit about Hot 97's new Music Director, and what that might or might not mean for the station.
Of course, we'll talk about general happenings in and around New York City's hip hop scene, recap a few shows including hip hop at the famous Blue Note Jazz Cafe and a one-man show (well, two technically) that blends hip hop, spoken word, music, humor... ah man, this show just has everything!
As always, we want YOUR CALLS! So come and kick it with us sports talk radio style on The NY Hip Hop Report with Manny Faces.
We review matchday 1 of Euro Cup qualifications.- England, Spain, Germany and Italy win while Portugal stumbles out of the blocks. We preview Champions League pool play matches being played September 16/17. Who will be club champions of Europe - Chelsea, Barca, Real Madrid, Buyern Munich or others? We catch up Bundesliga, La Liga, Serie A and Ligue 1 (one team - one man?) fixtures and tables to date - and predict domestic league champions. We also preview key BPL matches as week 4 of Premiership football resumes this weekend. All this and much more!
On today's edition of BDSIR Network Presents: No Foul Play, we will discuss all the International Friendlies that occurred throughout the week. We will discuss how these International teams, post World Cup, will look into the future. We will also discuss the latest matches of qualifying for the 2016 UEFA European Championship, plus the preview of the upcoming fixtures. We will also speak on Franck Ribery's retirement from International Football. Apparently, UEFA President Michel Platini has warned Ribery that if he does not join France, if called up, he can get banned three matches with his club Bayern Munich. Is this fair? We will also preview next week's fixtures of the Barclays Premier League, La Liga, Serie A, Bundesliga, and Serie A. We will also discuss transfer deadline from Monday. Plus, MLS? How confident are we that the MLS is the league to lead the interest of football in the United States with the Premier League drawing such huge numbers? All of this, and more. You can call into the show at 347-637-3859, or you can tweet into the show @BDSIRNOFOULPLAY, or even Skype! Live at 7:00 PM EST/12:00 AM UK!
