Talking all things faith, including faith-based current events (and sometimes even that dreaded political overlap, YIKES!) Tune in!
Imagine that you are standing in front of a flagpole with your eyes closed. There is a flag flying in the wind. The person next to you asks, "Will you pledge allegiance to this flag?" What will you answer? You will most likely answer that you can't pledge allegiance to the flag until you open your eyes and identify which country the flag stands for. You can't give your oath to defend that country and to live under its rules until you know which country it is. To do so would be foolishness. Similarly, how can you give allegiance to an elohim (g_d) whose name you do not know?
“As a man who grew up Catholic and was lost in New Age theology for 20 years, I can say that I was never taught that G_d has a name and that He wants it known and proclaimed,” says Peter Miller-Russo who, along with his wife Linda, is a non-denominational Christian. They co-authored “Proclaim His Holy Name: Uncovering YEHOVAH’s Will for His Name,” (www.proclaimhisholyname.org).
Linda continues, “Believing that all religions worship the same Creator may sound nice and politically correct, but in reality the Bible is explicit. Not everyone worships the one true Creator.”
“Throughout the Hebrew Tanakh (the Christians’ ‘Old Testament’) as well as the Christian New Testament, the Bible names YEHOVAH as humankind’s one true Creator. In fact Exodus 3:15 clearly states what the Creator’s name is. Scriptures of the other major world religions simply do use YEHOVAH’s name for their creator,” Peter says.

Rick Warren’s recently publicized comments concerning Roman Catholicism is generating a lot of discussion. Warren has affirmed his affinity with Rome by seeking peace where there is no peace.
However, it is not just Warren but is a complete surrender of Protestants. What we are witnessing is the Evangelical Can-Can. Evangelicals are flirting and fornicating in the religious brothels also called the synagogues of Satan. Just like the Church of Thyatira in Revelation 2:20, the Lord has a few things against the modern Evangelical Church because she is allowing the whore Jezebel to teach and seduce the servants of God to commit fornication through the enticement of the Evangelical Can-Can.
In this program we begin to set forth the truth concerning our separation and disagreements with Rome. After 400 years many Protestants are ready to call off their protest but we cannot lest we deny Christ and the Gospel. Therefore, we will continue to call the world to conformity to Christ and His Word and condemn those who seek appeasement.
Help us in this fight of faith as we seek to stand firm for the faith once delivered unto the saints. Find out more at www.reformedholytrinity.org
This is the final part to "God Sees Us As Holy." We will be picking up where we left off in Part 3. Each believer must have a good understanding and know within their heart that God sees us as holy before Him. It is the Grace of God that enables us to be holy.
Please accept my apologies for the shortness of this episode. I had a malfunction with my microphone and was not aware of it until after the program. I will pickup where it had malfunctioned in next weeks episode. Thank you!

The Half Has Never Been Told: Slavery and the Making of American Capitalism
Historian Edward E. Baptist reveals in The Half Has Never Been Told, the expansion of slavery in the first eight decades after American independence drove the evolution and modernization of the United States. In the span of a single lifetime, the South grew from a narrow coastal strip of worn-out tobacco plantations to a continental cotton empire, and the United States grew into a modern, industrial, and capitalist economy. Until the Civil War, Baptist explains, the most important American economic innovations were ways to make slavery ever more profitable. Through forced migration and torture, slave owners extracted continual increases in efficiency from enslaved African Americans. Thus the United States seized control of the world market for cotton, the key raw material of the Industrial Revolution, and became a wealthy nation with global influence.
Told through intimate slave narratives, plantation records, newspapers, and the words of politicians, entrepreneurs, and escaped slaves, The Half Has Never Been Told offers a radical new interpretation of American history. It forces readers to reckon with the violence at the root of American supremacy, but also with the survival and resistance that brought about slavery’s end—and created a culture that sustains America’s deepest dreams of freedom.
Edward E. Baptist is an Associate Professor in the Department of History and House Professor and Dean at the Carl Becker House at Cornell University.

Personality Speaking welcomes the Briscoe's to discuss "A Personality That Betrays". Rev. Vince and Min. Joy are an Associate Pastor and Associate Minister (Respectfully) at The First Baptist Church of Glenarden submitted under the leadership of their Pastor, Mentor and one of their Spiritual Fathers, Pastor John K. Jenkins Sr. The Briscoe's take great pleasure in serving together where they use the method of transparency to help others. Together they have ministered at Couples Retreats and events, leadership training and ministered together as they tag teamed preach for a Sunday Morning Worship Service they also have the honor to serve as the Couples Connector Group Leaders for The 40 Day Surrender Fast for Author, Dr. Celeste Owens. With much understanding, compassion and careful thought they counsel spouses and couples as well. The two have been married for almost 22 years and have experienced highs and lows, successes and failures as well as wins and losses in life and yet through the joy and pain they have used those times to make them better as husband and wife. A foundational principle helping them to overcome and become better during those times is their understanding that a marriage is God's example to the world of Christ love for the church and therefore as the husband, Vince seeks to model in their marriage to his wife what Christ love looks like while Joy seeks to model in their marriage the response the church has back to Christ love. God has blessed them with 4 children 22, 18, 16, and 12. Vince and Joy has embraced as Jesus sent his disciples out two by two so has He sent them and as Vince and Joy have successfully learned how to become one flesh they are passionate in helping other couples successfully become and operate as one in their marriages!
