Jesus band of brothers? Well we call them that. But we know that Jesus hand picked these men to be a part of his iner circle. What can we learn from them? Also, let's look at the book of Joshua. What can we learn from Joshua and Caleb? I am quite drawn to Caleb's story. At 85 he is still ready to kick butt and take names.

Two Brothers and a Football are live on the glorious day of 1-24-15. We are here to talk a whole bunch of football, including Super Bowl 49, and the other side of Fantasy Football. Going to open the show with some news and run down information, not much is happening of course, since there is no football this week, but I am sure we can update you with some happenings. We will touch on players such as DeMarco Murray, Odell Beckham Jr, and Frank Gore. Going to take a closer look at the Denver Broncos running backs, and where they may fall for your fantasy draft next season, and what they will do with that very large stable. Speaking of Denver, we are also going to talk some Peyton Manning, and players reaction to Deflate Gate. We will be wrapping up the show with our Fantasy All-Star team and our Fantasy duds awards.
don’t hesitate to send us a tweet @RFLRedZone and we will answer it on the air. And as always a special thanks to Robyn Vandenberg @WhatWouldTB12Do, and Fantasy Sports Warehouse @FantasySportsWH, and Matt Kirschbaum @mattkirschbaum1
Welcome back to another edition of "The Jay Byrd Show!" I know everyone is getting tired of deflate gate but I still have some fresh perspective on the topic that is worthy of discussion. Also I have to give the Gasol Brothers a little love for being named All Star Starters for the first time in NBA History. Plus, someone else in the NBA broke a record of their own last night and more on the Biggest boxing match that will never happen. All of this and more on this edition of "The Jay Byrd Show!"
BLACKWELL returns to radio with their latest single called Welcome To The Country which has already became a huge favorite when the band performs live!
BLACKWELL is a vocal trio led by singer/songwriter Braiden Turner along with singer/songwriter/guitarist Carey Blackwell and brother Dan Blackwell. All three are from musical families. Although Braiden is from Ottawa, much of her life has been spent in the small towns of southern Ontario where her family is from. Carey and Dan are from Northern Ontario where they began their musical lives
“Small town Ontario gives us the perspective of everyday people just like us” says Braiden, “We know how they think, because that’s how we think…and we can relate to them and they can relate to us! We’re all really very proud of our roots".
What else that all three have in common is their love of vocal harmony, original songs, the richness of their roots and their desire to showcase their brand of originality. Carey is also adamant that Braiden be featured out front and that he and Dan play supporting roles.“That’s where we feel comfortable” says Carey, “Braiden is the perfect vocalist and personality to lead BLACKWELL to where we want to go. She’s creative, determined and has so much energy it’s scary!”

Smooth R&B performer Jerome Woods, born in Benton Harbor, Michigan,
is better known by his stage name Rome. He sang along with his mother’s soul
records (Marvin Gaye and Sam Cooke) as well as in the local church choir. He
joined an R&B cover band named Fire & Ice while still in high school and quickly
began traveling the region performing in local clubs and talent contests as a solo
act and with the band.
Rome left Oakwood University in 1989 to pursue his dream of becoming
an R&B singer on the West Coast. He quickly began touring as a back-up
vocalist with R&B singer/songwriters Patti LaBelle and Vesta known for hits
"Once Bitten, Twice Shy", "Sweet Sweet Love", "Special," and her 1989 hit and
signature song, "Congratulations,” in addition to performing in industry
Finally, in 1996 Rome was connected with record producers Gerald
Balilergeau and Victor Meritt who sent his demo tape to RCA Records. The label
signed him immediately and he began working on his debut album, self-titled
ROME, which was released in April 1997. The album soon ascended to #30 on
the Album charts, mainly on the strength of the single, "I Belong to You
(Everytime I See Your Face)," which peaked at #6 in the United States. Rome
had two Top 40 hits from the album, and it was certified platinum.
In 2001 he returned with two albums: To The Highest and To Infinity
(Thank You); the last one is just an alternative edition of Rome2000: Thank
You. Do It followed in 2003, and three years later Sony issued The Best of
Rome has just released his new single, “Close to You” on iTunes!

The Dubber - In the tradition of the Mississippi Delta Bluesmen, THE Dubber confronts the world with only a guitar and his words. The self- taught singer/songwriter continues reinventing himself by fusing the styles of a 30 year musical journey. Rock, Jazz and Funk, flavored with the International sounds of Reggae, Middle Eastern Music and Afro Beat, creates the complex stew that helps him express his blues in an innovative and distinct manner.
Since 2005, the Washington DC born/South Carolina based musician has been trailblazing through America with an honest and intimate stage show. His sophisticated one man band guitar style and universal message of ONENESS, keeps THE Dubber booked year round. Always a crowd favorite, he has played such prestigious events as the South by Southwest Music Conference (Austin TX) and the Mid-Atlantic Music Conference (Charlotte NC).
With radio airplay here and abroad, a U.S. and European tour, plus three albums under his belt, "In the Temple of..." 2005, "Global Warning" 2010 and the recently released "Cleaning Up The Dirty South" 2014. THE Dubber is currently touring the American South to promote the latest album now movement under the same title. Partially funded by the South Carolina Art Commission, this project has taken a life of its own due to the candid message he delivers on the status of social and cultural progressions since his 8 years living and touring the South.
