The Ravens take to the road for their second preseason game when they face the Dallas Cowboys tonight at AT&T Stadium. In their first preseason matchup of 2014, Baltimore bested the San Francisco 49ers. Led by QB Joe Flacco, the Ravens new look offense drove 80 yards in 10 plays capped by a Bernard Pierce TD run.
Dallas, which opened at the San Diego Chargers, dropped a 27-7 contest.
Alan will preview and break down tonight’s contest. The starters are expected to play a quarter or more and Alan will tell you 5 players to watch and 5 things to watch for tonight. Tonight’s contest also looms large for the first round of cuts.
The first round of cuts is on August 26, when all teams need to be down to 75 players. Right now the Ravens have a full roster of 90 players—so starting tonight, the next two weeks will be very important for players on the roster bubble. Alan will also predict the 53, as he sees it heading into Dallas.
The Ravens pre-game show will also take a look back at when the Ravens turned out the lights on Texas Stadium back in 2008. Showtime is 5:30 and Alan will take right up to kickoff. Follow Alan on Twitter @zlotsports.

Tonight, the Baltimore Ravens kick off their preseason slate at M&T Bank Stadium in a 7:30 p.m. showdown against the San Francisco 49ers. Guided by head coach John Harbaugh, Baltimore has advanced to the AFC Championship game in three of the past six seasons, while the Jim Harbaugh-led 49ers have played in an impressive three-consecutive NFC title games. This battle marks the first meeting between the two clubs since the Ravens emerged victorious, 34-31, in Super Bowl XLVII on Feb. 3, 2013.
The Ravens look to rebound from an 8-8 campaign in 2013 after missing the playoffs for the first time since John Harbaugh’s 2008 Baltimore arrival.
Alan will offer up his 5 Things to watch for and tell you what you can expect to see. Alan will tell you what new O-Coordinator Gary Kubiak will be trying to accomplish tonight. Will the offensive line open up holes and protect for Ray Rice and Joe Flacco, who both, are coming off poor seasons?
Game time is finally here and this Ravens pregame show delivers like no other. Stay tuned and log back on after the game, as Alan will conduct a Ravens post game show.
