On tonight's show:
Rather than delve into the truth rather than the lies being perpetrated by the Brown campaign, that even prominent liberal commentators have criticized, the Baltimore Sun predictably just carries water for the Brown campaign by printing their talking points. We'll discuss.
The Washington Post reports on the ongoing problems with Maryland's health exchange website but ignore Lt. Gov. Brown's involvement in creating the failed site or his failures to correct the problems.
The debate in Frederick County over the rain tax shows the clear contrast between how state Republicans and Democrats approach solving issues and raising taxes. We'll break it down.
A piece from Wesley J. Smith about the movement to deny equal value and dignity to each human life.
Wonder why things never really change in Maryland? Part of the reason is that people who acknowledge serious problems choose to literally run in circles rather than change the people running the state. I will invite them to "Get Off My Lawn."
Today we will begin things off by breaking down all the Football games from week 3 in the National Football League. We'll go back to Thursday night and set our way into all of Sunday's morning, afternoon and night games. We will also look ahead to Monday night with tonight's games as well.
We will talk about the surprises with the week 3 games, take a look back at Kirk Cousins who took over in RG3's spot while being injured. Also, after losing to Atlanta on Thursday night 56-14 is Tampa Bay's season already over? We will will give our thoughts on that.
In our last part of the show we will talk some MLB Baseball, take a look at all teams who have been officially eliminated from the postseason run and who are still in the fight for it.
We will take your calls at 646-478-5337 and read your tweets via twitter to @Sonnycruise1, @rdmest and @SportsHouseShow.
Tonight on Sports Talk with Benson we will discuss a variety of topics including Bisciotti Speaks, College Football, Cutler's Gambles, Power Rankings, Fired Up H.S. Star, and more. Baltimore Ravens owner Steve Bisciotti addressed an ESPN report on the team's handling of the Ray Rice investigation. Nothing is set in stone after Week 4. Even after winning without Jameis Winston, Florida State is no lock for the playoff. We know Jay Cutler loves to sling the ball down the field. But the Bears quarterback's risy style about confidence or insecurity? The postseason field is filling up season. Where do we rank the teams fighting for a spot? Need motivation on a Monday? East View High School's Appolos Hester will lift your spirits with his speech on overcoming obstacles on the football field and in life.
