7 QUALITIES OF AN EAGLE BY DR. MYLES MONROE
1. Eagles fly alone and at high altitudes. They don't fly with sparrows or other small birds. Keep good company.
2. Eagles have a strong vision. They are able to see far. Have the ability to visualize and make prompt decisions.
3. Eagles do not eat dead things. They always feed on fresh prey. Do not rely on your past success; keep looking for new frontiers to conquer.
4. Eagles love the storm. The storm assures that the eagle will soar high. Face your challenges, knowing that these will make you emerge stronger and better than you were.
5. Eagles test before they trust. Test the loyalty and commitment of your friends and leaders in your team.
6. Eagles prepare for training. They remove the feathers and soft grass in the nest so that the young get uncomfortable in preparation for flying. Leave your comfort zone – there is no growth there.
7. Eagles find a place of renewal. As they grow old, they go through a painful process of transformation. The eagle knocks its old beak on a rock to remove it. Once a new one grows it plucks its old feathers from its chests and wings and lives for another 30 years. Read books that will transform you. Watch things that will challenge and build you.

Take a break from the holiday shopping and decorating to tune-in to another “relaxed” Frat House Saturday with Frat House Mike.
We’re bringing you a busy, busy program today so we start it right off with our famous Frat House Sports’ NFL Picks-of-the-Week: Pittsburgh Steelers – Cincinnati Bengals / Buffalo Bills – Philadelphia Eagles / San Francisco 49ers – Cleveland Browns / Indianapolis Colts – Jacksonville Jaguars.
Then on this Army – Navy Saturday, we’re very pleased to be joined LIVE by our good buddy Eric Purdy for a bit of “Trash Talkin’ with Purdy” and very special guest, the President of Operation Bald Eagle, Jeff Mitchell.
Finally we close the afternoon out with a terrific conversation from our Thursday night “flagship” program The Frat House Sports Show with our NBA analyst Matt DiBiase. We started out chatting about the recent, and perhaps insightful, moves by the Philadelphia 76ers which turned into a much broader conversation about the state of current sports!
So tune-in to another “relaxed” Frat House Saturday while you’re wrapping those gifts, or trimming the tree, or baking the cookies, and heck, don’t be afraid to call-in: 347 – 826 – 9964
People make the world go around. That's a fact. Without people, we really would be a 'pale blue ball’ like Sagan once said. How we interact with each other helps to build families, communities, and cultures. All this month on the Parker J Cole show, we will be discussing relationships -- from husband and wives to friends and siblings. Each week, our commentary will focus on particular aspect of the relational wheel.
This week, we'll be discussing husbands and wives. This is a particularly hot topic, especially in the Church as various views of what a husband's and wife's role is according to biblical teaching. So we're up for the challenge. Join me as I talked with Pastor Mike Spaulding from Soaring Eagle Radio and the Transforming Word as we talk about the first relationship God ever made -- husband and wife.

Charlotte View welcomes don Miguel Ruiz, Jr. He is a Toltec Master of Transformation. He is a direct descendant of the Toltecs of the Eagle Night lineage, and is the son of don Miguel Ruiz, author of New York Times bestseller The Four Agreements. He is the author of the books Living a Life of Awareness: Daily Meditations on the Toltec Path and The Five Levels of Attachment: Toltec Wisdom for a Modern World. Along with his family, he teaches workshops and offers transformational journeys around the world. He also hosts a successful weekly internet radio show, “The Way of the Desert”.
We have all unwittingly made agreements about how we choose to live our lives and what we believe our personal truths are.
But what we may not realize is that each one of these agreements represents an attachment, a limiting filter on who we think we are, and what the future could hold.
We call these attachments “knowledge” without ever questioning if that knowledge is necessarily true for us.
During this interview, don Miguel Ruiz Jr will guide all listeners to understanding how we have developed our belief structures and how to go about re-evaluating—or even severing—these harmful attachments. According to Miguel Jr., "it is important to be aware of where we are on the scale of attachment with any particular belief. With awareness we can regain the power to make our own decisions."
Miguel Jr teaches us to divide our attachments in 5 levels and how to find the beliefs we have attached to each: The Authentic Self; Preference; Identity; Internalization; and Fanaticism
