Jump "In the Pickle Barrel" at 8AM EST- 10AM EST as we dedicated the morning to the slugfest to get our country's budget under control. The Conservative Right is trying it's best to get a Balanced Budget Amendment passed. The Liberal Left will hear nothing concerning a balanced budget. I am not sure anyone knows what a Balanced Budget means!
Well,Tuesday, March 24, 2015 is Balanced Budget Day "In the Pickle Barrel". At approximately the 8:30AM mark Congressman Tom Rice (R-SC) will be joining us to give his take on the issue. At the 9AM mark Congressman Renee Ellmers (R-North Carolina) will share her opinion on the issue. Hopefully other invited guess will share Balanced Budget Day with us during our discussions.
Through the discussions we will also look at the Pros and Cons of a Balanced Budget. As always, the online live Chat Room will be open for your comments and questions. Also, you are welcome to call in at 855-236-2486 to share your opinions and questions.
The Federal Budget should be of major concern to every citizen of this country we call The United States of America.
Shane Krauser, the host of Liberty Storm, takes on the critical issues of the day and tells you what the rule of law, liberty, and our Constitution has to say about it all. Shane talked about the following issues:
1. Lou Marin and Loren Enns of IAmAmerican.org and the Balanced Budget Amendment Task Force are both advocating a state-initiated Article V Convention to amend the Constitution. What are the advantages and disadvantages? Is it a viable option?
2. Senate Majority Leader Harry Reid (D-Nev.) argues that the Democratic effort to amend the Constitution so Congress can impose limits on political spending by companies is really about “restoring freedom of speech for everyone in America.” What was the original intent of the First Amendment anyways?

To celebrate the latest big budget disaster movie this summer, San Andreas, Robert Winfree looks back on some of the nastiest disasters Mother Nature has thrown onto the screen. Tornadoes, tsunamis, earthquakes, volcanic eruptions, rogue waves, hurricanes, even a few meteors, they all show up. Plus a look at some of the villains from those movies, if they measure up or are even necessary.
It's Not About Right and Left. It's About Right and Wrong!

Natalie Christine Johnson is one of Hollywood South’s most in-demand makeup artists. With a background in Psychology and a degree in fine arts from the University of New Orleans, Johnson began her career with M.A.C. because a fellow makeup artist happened to like the way she did her makeup when she happened upon her while working in a mall. Natalie used any kind of canvas she could get her hands on and realized that a face was just another medium. She quickly made the move into film and television. With almost 50 productions under her belt in the past 3 years, Johnson has worked on everything from big budget feature films such as the widely popular Left Behind series with Nicolas Cage, to music videos, network and reality TV, and the Sundance darling Sex, Guaranteed where she met and worked with Stephen Dorff. After working together on that project he later asked her to be his personal makeup artist for their next project together, The American Hero. Her commercial work ranges from local universities to clients like McDonald’s, Wal-Mart, Visa and the NFL. Expanding from beauty to special effects makeup, Johnson has worked for the last three years as a makeup department head and creative consultant for the independent and festival award winning production company, Little to N.O. Budget Films. Working closely with the director and writers, her vision helped develop worlds of zombies, ghosts, and surreal carnivals. She recently worked on the projects Abattoir and Cold Moon. What would America look like if there was no taxation?
Should you pay a tax on property that you "own outright"?
Some would say raise taxes for government programs, others would argue the contrary.

1. In the News 2. Senator Mike Lee (R-UT) talked about his book Our Lost Constitution: The Willful Subversion of America’s Founding Document, in which he examines portions of the U.S. Constitution that he argues are currently diminished, including the Fourth Amendment’s protection against unreasonable search and seizures and the Origination Clause, which states that all tax bills must originate in the House of Representatives. Senator Lee spoke with Matt Kibbe, president and CEO of FreedomWorks. 3. Book Talk 4. Listener Calls
A Texas public college is being sued for violating the 1st Amendment. 2 students held a sign promoting the 2nd Amendment. Armed campus police ordered them to leave because of a complaint that the sign was offensive. I just can't help but wonder . . . If they were to hold a sign saying "George Bush must be shot" - Would we even hear about this story?
AlsoTPP is on the Captain's Log tonight - How will this effect the US and global economies and America's future as a "Super Power"?
Tonight's topic is karma, angels and new beginnings. Originally aired 3/05/2015
The soul is constantly evolving, from one experience to the next, one lifetime to the next. Sometimes the experiences we engage in distract us and we get caught up in temporal, corporeal, physical experiences. To look at this from one perspective, we have lost our way slightly and have moved off the mark from where we were heading. The soul has its own corrective measure to get itself back on the path, and this process is karma. One extreme in one experience is balanced by an opposite extreme in another. Yin and yang. As the soul evolves, it becomes less and less distracted by the temptations of the physical world and more engaged in the real word (the spiritual world). It learns to let go. It becomes more balanced. It no longer needs to go to extremes in its behaviour or its thinking. It becomes enlightened.
