Boston College Football Week 5: Duke Blue Devils

    in Sports

The injury bug is turning into a parasite.

One week after losing their quarterback for the season, the Boston College Eagles defeated the NIU Huskies, 17-14. Along the way, they lost their starting running back, another tight end, two other running backs. They improved to 3-1, but the survival attrition continued to take its toll.

With this in mind, we're going to take to the airwaves to talk about the Eagles and try to dissect last week's game. What went right? What went wrong? What can be fixed? What needs to be gameplanned against? All of that is on the table.

Dan and AJ will welcome two guests onto the broadcast this week - friend of the program and ACC insider Brittnee Taylor-Newman from Football.com joins them to discuss the game with the Blue Devils and the entire landscape of the league; and Joey Weaver from From The Rumble Seat dials in to talk about what to expect out of Duke. His Georgia Tech Yellow Jackets, a preseason favorite to win the conference, are now unranked thanks to two straight defeats, the second of which came at the hands of David Cutcliffe's team last Saturday.

Be sure to give us a call at 646-200-0446 to talk about the attrition, the roster, the coaches, and the games!

BAMS looks forward to the rumble against Ole Miss with David Brandt

    in Sports

The start of the SEC slate is upon us, and Alabama is preparing for revenge against the Ole Miss Rebels. Last year's game featured goalposts coming down. With any luck, it will be the Rebels laid low this go around, and the suddenly-overloaded Ole Miss bandwagon in a ditch as fans jump ship en masse. BAMS will welcome David Brandt from the Associated Press to help us gear up for the epic clash in Tuscaloosa. The action starts at 8 with Cary Clark, Drew DeArmond and Thomas Watts. Be there or be Auburn.

Americas Most Unwanted and The People Who Find Them

    in Legal

There are many things that I believe are facts. Sure death and taxes are right up there, but there are many others. I believe that without some serious changes the Bail Bond industry is going to go the way of the Dodo bird.

The industry faces many challenges and now is the time to unite, not rumble in the mud with each other.

I see the various flavors of Pre-Trial Release as possibly being the most serious problem the industry has ever faced. There is no point in griping. Hell I gripe about having to take the garbage out, but, I have no better solution, so I take the garbage out!

It is high time that a serious conversation is held about Pre-Trial. Join us on Saturday for that conversation.

    in Hip Hop Music

Wuss up everybody this is Lou Nac I am originally from Boston, Massachusetts currenly residing in Prince William by way of most of the east coast, literally. I have been writing and recording since I was 15. I have a couple of credits out there. I do however believe that credit is the record of past successes, not success itself and although art imitates life, truly living is an art in itself.
In light of a couple major events, I decided to take my music much more seriously over the last couple of years. And would like you to hear it first...

Speaking of firsts, this the "first"verse I wrote for my "first" Release "Inches Away" on my "first" solo album:
I wrote it out for you below:

When's the last time you heard something fresh and new,
blessing you, rest is due to the commercial crew, house music is house, use it and cut something, don't confuse it, like the south ain't about nothing, I abuse a beat, yet delicate with cheeks, I delegate freaks when I'm out in South Beach, I heard you got beef, don't know Shit about me I'm humble with the boast, I rumble with the Ghosts, only meaningful thing you did was penetrate coach. Yeah nigga, and I'm a brat wit dats, skipped highschool for college now its back to Facts, I spit from the telephone booth its phone check, platonic friend, in ya lady's phone text, most frequently asked question, why haven't we cut yet, I tell her the truth, her odds are slim, 10 to 1 in ATL time for trim, I'm out for a mil like you her and him. Look!
