Fly Away Hero is a band out of Dallas, TX, comprised of Dalton Rapattoni (vocals/guitar), Hunter Lucas (guitar), Hunter Knoche (drums), and Cat (bass). Their sound is based in rock but easily crosses from pop to punk to alternative, and at times even a little southern/outlaw rock.
Fly Away Hero has taken a long and twisted road to get where they are today. Founding members, Dalton and Hunter started out as childhood best friends playing classic rock covers. They formed a band and before long had a strong local following. After only 2 EPs with Fly Away Hero, Dalton was offered an opportunity to move to LA as a part of the boyband IM5. After 3 years of touring and performing with the group, Dalton realized that he could no longer ignore his love of screaming guitars and loud drums, and he decided to return to his rock roots and to Texas, where he re-formed the band.

And just like that, February Sweeps are over. Which means it’s time to look back over the past four weeks and discuss what worked and what didn’t. Were you blown away by THE YOUNG & THE RESTLESS’ disasters… or underwhelmed? What did you think of Steffy’s return (not to mention our favorite new hashtag, #DrunkBrooke) on THE BOLD & THE BEAUTIFUL? Did you figure out where DAYS OF OUR LIVES was going with Aiden’s story? And what were your thoughts on GENERAL HOSPITAL’s prison break? Plus, we’ll preview the week’s hot plots and discuss why Pop (formerly the TV Guide Network) is likely to produce a far better Daytime Emmys telecast than the show has seen in years!
This episode of Pneumatikos will explore the Spirit's power to lead us out of that thrown away and thrown out mentality. Some spiritual pain is so deep that is buried alive in the recesses of the soul, and other types of spiritual pain are articulated through somatic wounding or injury. The power of God is available to lead us out of the wilderness of spiritual darkness. God's power or dunamis is given to those who believe that He is, and that He is a rewarder of those who diligently seek Him Out.
Fifty Five Shades of Political Economy….
Economic theorists since their inception over 200 years ago, have struggled with the question of how to distribute wealth and continue to come up short.
The author is not only criticizing capitalism, but finally has brought to the table, a new thought provoking alternative to the economic cannibalistic system.
The author’s unconventional line of attack, will raise your heart rate and make you nauseous. By the middle of the book, you might be searching for a long rope to hang yourself with, thinking that humanity is doomed…but you will be missing out on the spectacular finale.
This book is not one more economic liturgy. The author offers a thought provocative remedy to global socio-economic inequality; the rise of Ethosism.

Is Giving Your Music Away Helping or Hurting Your Music Career? The debate about free music has raged for years now, and there’s still no answer that satisfies all sides. Tim Kreider’s NYT op-ed piece called “Slaves of the Internet, Unite!” does a good job voicing the frustrations of artists around the world who are tired of seeing their labor go unvalued (both monetarily and otherwise). But Remember, buyers no longer have to purchase an entire album in order to enjoy an artist's music. They can purchase single tracks that they have heard on other platforms. This is a perfect way for artists to earn and create revenue in streams that were not possible before the age of the MP3. Rather than risking the loss of a sale because a potential buyer does not want to buy an entire CD, artists can also now make money because buyers can select any specific song they want. The other side of this is that, if a band releases a song for free, fans may want to buy more of their songs which require a purchase.

In this episode Bob Kirkconnell, author of American Heart of Darkness, will discuss America's biggest and oldest problem of "Racism in America". If there ever has been an opportune time to abolish slavery, it was during and after the Revolutionary War. And yet it survived. Even after the Civil War, a horrific event that killed more Americans than any other war, what did survive was racism. Despite excellent legislation against racism, it morphed into what is today called "Jim Crow," a de facto form of slavery. America tried again in the '60s and '70s with the civil rights movement that resulted in legislation that struck down Jim Crow. The Civil Rights Act of 1964, The Voting Rights Act, and many others made Jim Crow a thing of the past, but this system was replaced again with what we have today which is "The Prison Industrial Complex." Will this ever end, and why won’t it go away?
This brings up some conclusions and also questions:
What is the Prison Industrial Complex and what effect does it have?
Why is legislation ineffective against racism?
Why cannot America leave its racist past behind?
What would replace the Prison Industrial Complex if it was legislated out of existence?
What needs to be done to solve this cancer that has been with America from the very start?

For quite some time now I have been trying to convince you to pick up the Bible and read it for yourself, to determine how you think God wants you to live. I have been trying to tell you that God’s will is not that which others tell you but that which you figure out yourself. I have tried to let you in on a well-kept secret that no one knows the will of God except when it comes to their lives and only their lives. My truth is my truth and all you have to do is respect it. You do not have to agree and you will never be able to change it. You may influence others to think about it and you may make a really good argument toward it but the final decision of change will not be yours, it will be theirs. For quite some time I have tried to educate you on how important it was for you to take back that power you have given away to others to make you feel bad, to ignore your own feelings and to accept their truth. Because of this, some have begun to assume that it is about control but what it is truly about is them not happy with who they are. It is about them missing something but not quite knowing exactly what it is. It is about them thinking that as long as they have others traveling in the same boat as they are, they will not have to suffer alone. My how they are wrong.
