Loretta McNary Live is a premier blog talk radio show created for an empowered, active, and diverse TV, radio, social media and online listening audience. LML uses a progressive live call in format to target an ever expanding market of online listeners wanting an impressive menu of meaningful, and authentic conversations in choosing their daily media.
Our guest today is the award winning gospel artist Ami Rushes.
Author and philanthropist, Ami Rushes, is back with her fifth studio effort STAND UP FOR JESUS, a project compiled of original songs from guest songwriters, produced by Kurt Carr-a first for Rushes who is known for paying homage to great gospel legends by remaking their songs.
When asked what she wants her listeners to take from this project Rushes answers, "I want people to know that God is a healer, that nothing is impossible for the Lord, and I want people to be blessed and inspired and have renewed hope." She continues to explain, "I pray that someone who doesn't know the Lord will listen to this new music and hear something or feel something that will cause them to say, 'I want what I'm hearing,' and come to the saving knowledge of the Lord Jesus Christ."
As with all her releases, 10% of the proceeds from the sales of STAND UP FOR JESUS will benefit Save Africa's Children, a charity founded by her pastor, Bishop Charles E. Blake of the West Angeles Church of God in Christ in LA, California, which currently provides support to over 230 thousand children, in 400 orphan care programs, throughout more than 24 nations on the continent of Africa.
Anjelica Records recording artist Evangelist Faye Mosby is known to be a worshipper! Her new album
‘My Worship’ is expected to debut in 2015. She is currently introducing her highly anticipated new single “My
Worship is My Warfare” which shares a dual release with her new book ‘Through the Fire for His Glory’.
In a twist of fate that could only be described as Divine Intervention, Faye was inflicted with a gash to her hand that required medical attention. A quick series of medical tests later, Faye at age 37, was diagnosed with a very
aggressive metastatic breast cancer. Faye underwent a radical mastectomy. The radiation treatment that was
meant to rid her body of cancer severely burned her vocal chords. “I didn’t have much scripture memorized at that
time but I focused on, ‘By His Stripes I am Healed’. My faith in God’s word kept me going.”
. She won the 2012 Newsome Awards Female Vocalist of the Year, was a Grand Finale Finalist in the 2012 Prayze Factor People’s Choice Awards and she is a recipient of the 2012 Black Essence Award. Faye was recently voted Vocalist of the Year in the 2013 SIBN Excellence Awards. She has been the featured psalmist on the WATC Atlanta Live television program. Most recently a song she wrote and recorded ‘Love Song’ won the 2014 Music Love Awards Traditional Song of the Year.
Dr. Bobby Jones called Faye a “great song writer”. ” Faye believes she is a “Music Missionary on a mission to do what the great commission has called us all to do.” She has two grown children and is raising her two young granddaughters.
Tonight Pop Art Painter Jamie Roxx (www.JamieRoxx.us) welcomes award-winning singer-songwriter Bernie Nelson to the Show.
His first No.1 single, “Daddy Never Was The Cadillac Kind,” is now a country music standard with Million-Airplay status. It’s no wonder his name is among the A-list for hit songwriters. Now he’s taking his songwriting talent solo in his own career as a recording artist, and he’s started off running. Everyone who’s anyone in the music industry has been out supporting his new album, Blue.
