#BlackLivesMatter Yes, Black Lives Matter, but before we can convince others, we must know it, believe it, and act from this fact ourselves. The Master Griot Project in partnership with the BBS Value Tour have been in search of positive actions and strategic solutions to America's historical disregard of Black lives and we've found some! So, let's have conversations around sound strategies and positive actions as we work toward defined goals. Using think tank, THE HARVEST INSTITUTE's guidance as our framework, we'll talk strategy and commit to actions in our new monthly purpose driven words series here on Master Griot / NBBTA Radio.

"Who can find a VIRTUOUS (CHAYIL) woman..."
Few people realize that the word virtuous is translated from the Hebrew word CHAYIL.Chayil in its original framework is ESHET CHAYIL meaning woman of VALOR. It is great courage in the face of danger, especially in battle. It implies bravery & courage-—doing what frightens you. Or pluck--the kind of daring that enables you to quickly remove someone from a dangerous or unpleasant situation. She is audacious—taking bold risks with confidence.
50% of the time this word is translated, it is in the context of VICTORIOUS WARFARE. 25% of the time it is in the context of wealth and the ability to acquire it. When you add all this up, CHAYIL is an allegorical woman who knows how to fight and win the battle for the home marketplace and community. Chayil is the wealth of Deuteronomy 8:18 & Proverbs 13:22. And she uses that wealth to establish the Kingdom of God.
“Chayil changes everything we thought we knew about the VIRTUOUS WOMAN.”
Chayil is a representation of the Body of Christ for our time. She is a symbol of what the Kingdom of God can do to release the will of God on earth as it is in heaven. This is the season for the Wealth of Chayil and the Wisdom of the Chayil Woman to manifest. It is time for her to arise, to shine.
Isaiah 60:1-3 Arise, shine; for your light has come! And the glory of the LORD is risen upon you. 2 for behold, the darkness shall cover the earth, and deep darkness the people; but the LORD will arise over you, and His glory will be seen upon you. 3 The Gentiles shall come to your light, and kings to the brightness of your rising. The Ebola virus is proving to be the deadliest microbe and most complex pathogen in recent history, specifically because Ebola Virus Disease(EVD) spreads within the context of social norms, such as embracing, or touching while caring for an infected carrier or contaminated environment. The alarmist nature of the American tabloids and cable news is causing anxiety and spreading fear and misinformation about the EVD. Health-care costs and illness from the effects of the disease contribute relatively little to its economic impact, according to a World Bank report. Rather, eighty to ninety per cent of the economic effects...
What did the bible teach us about the way modern-day politics are run in this world and the way our social structure is? Did the bible lay the framework for the way we deal with each other today?
Clinical Psychologist and Author Dr. E. Douglass Brown is our special guest speaker with his topic - Addictions and Relationships. This is his discussion summary statement: A person’s movement, so to speak towards any goal occurs in the framework of relationships. You cannot give your fullest to two competing relationships. The most important relationship is the one you have with the Creator. A person’s addiction, craving for, or preoccupation with anyone or anything is a recipe for disaster, be it sudden or delayed. Your True Self cannot serve two masters. It takes two in order to form a relationship. A human addiction is comprised of two elements - an ego and what the ego craves or insists on trying to get or achieve.
Your life today is essentially the sum of your habits.
How in shape or out of shape you are? A result of your habits.
How happy or unhappy you are? A result of your habits.
How successful or unsuccessful you are? A result of your habits.
What you repeatedly do (i.e. what you spend time thinking about and doing each day) ultimately forms the person you are, the things you believe, and the personality that you portray.
But what if you want to improve? What if you want to form new habits? How would you go about it?
Turns out, there’s a helpful framework that can make it easier to stick to new habits so that you can improve your health, your work, and your life in general.
The 3 R’s of Habit Change
Every habit you have — good or bad — follows the same 3–step pattern.
Reminder (the trigger that initiates the behavior)
Routine (the behavior itself; the action you take)
Reward (the benefit you gain from doing the behavior)
“The 3 R’s of Habit Change,” but I didn’t come up with this pattern on my own. It’s been proven over and over again by behavioral psychology researchers.

In Life Purpose Boot Camp, Maisel helps readers who are seeking meaning in their lives understand how, by adopting certain ideas and engaging in specific practices, they can effectively meet their pressing life purpose challenges. He suggests that readers do three things, which he explains in great detail in the book: get clear on what their unique life is all about, upgrade their personalities, and manage their circumstances as mindfully as they can.
Maisel stresses that no life purpose can even exist until we step back and identify, embrace, and implement the ones that we choose. He says that there is no one meaning of life but rather a multitude of subjective meanings, and that there is no purpose to life but rather a multitude of subjective life purposes. He then goes on to provide the framework and tools readers need to sort out their life purposes and to make meaning based on their personal values and principles.
“Some heavy lifting will be involved: the psychological heavy lifting of adopting a new attitude and a new vision of life and the practical heavy lifting of manifesting that attitude and that vision in the real world,” writes Maisel. “That amounts to a lot, but the reward is the highest prize available to you: an authentic life.”
