The line runs through Ernest Hemingway and Graham Greene, straight on to David Corbett. I'm not kidding. He's that good." For 15 years, David worked for the San Francisco private investigation firm of Palladino & Sutherland, and played a significant part in a number of high-profile criminal and civil litigations, including the Lincoln Savings & Loan Case, The DeLorean Trial, the Coronado Company marijuana indictments, The Cotton Club Murder Case, The People's Temple Trial, the first Michael Jackson child molestation case as well as numerous other drug, murder, and fraud cases. Critical acclaim has greeted Alan Russell's novels from coast to coast. Publisher's Weekly calls him, "One of the best writers in the mystery field today. The New York Times says, "He has a gift for dialogue," while the Los Angeles Times calls him, "A crime fiction rara avis." Russell's ten novels have ranged from whodunits to comedic capers to suspense, and his works have been nominated for most of the major awards in crime fiction. His novels have garnered him a Critics' Choice Award, The Lefty (awarded to the best humorous mystery of the year), and two San Diego Book Awards. A native and long-time resident of California, Alan Russell is a former college basketball player who these days barely can touch the rim. A proud father of three children, Russell is an avid gardener and cook, and fortunately is blessed with a spouse who doesn't mind weeding or washing dishes. You've heard them on Haunted Nights LIVE! Tamara Thorne and Alistair Cross bring you the best in horror, hauntings and spooks! The tables are turned tonight when they become the interviewees on Authors on the Air. These two crazy kids have written another winning heart-stopper of a book and they have agreed to go under the lights in Pam Stack's studio. Here's a little bit about The Cliffhouse Haunting: Cliffhouse has not always been a place of rest and respite, though. Over the years it has served many vices, from rum-running to prostitution and although the cat houses have been replaced by a miniature golf course and carousel, Cliffhouse retains its dark history; darkest during the Roaring Twenties, when a serial killer called the Bodice Ripper terrorized the town, and a phantom, the Blue Lady, was said to walk when murder was imminent.
Death walks With her…
Now, there’s a new killer on the loose and the Blue Lady sightings have returned. The Bellamys are losing maids and guests are being tormented by disembodied whispers, wet phantom footprints and the blood-chilling shrieks of mad laughter that echo through the halls of Cliffhouse in the dead of night.

in Self Help
Urban author, Dion Cheese, an African-American writer, penned Who Am I; The Chronicles of Cain; Explain It To Her Momma; and Caught Slipping.
Formally a hip-hop recording artist, father, convict, and drug dealer, Dion was born in northern New Jersey, the 7th of 8 siblings. Raised in the inner city section of Plainfield New Jersey, his life was anything but a Norman Rockwell portrait; life was hard, cold and at times cruel. Crime and drug-ridden, Dion avoided the lures of selling drugs and/or using them, coming from a family where everyone had succumb to one or the other. He somehow managed to have the force of will and vision to step outside his world, becoming the first in his family history to go to college to pursue a degree in Chemical Engineering.
In his late teens, however, he felt the pull of the large wake his older brother was creating in hip hop music. Robert, A/K/A Dee Jay Cheese, better known as DJ King Kut, by his late teens was already a multi-award winning DJ World Champion, and later an inductee to the DMC Hall of Fame.
Dion had always been inspired to write, and recorded his first song, “Phenomenal”, through CSI Entertainment in the mid-1980s as a tribute to the older brother’s talents. Two years later he formed Third Street productions and recorded the singles Third Street, Come On Everybody, Kick The Habit, and Leading The pack — released on Big City Records. He performed live at countless festivals, ands did shows at The Strand Theater in Plainfield New Jersey [headlined by E.M.P.D], and Newark Symphony Hall [headlined by BDP, D-Nice and Poor Righteous Teachers].
Along with his manager, Bruce T. Dugan, he founded Big City Records and, with the initial release of Third Street, the company established distribution through Schwartz Brothers, one of the largest independent national distributors at that time.
