Meet author/Pastor Jermaine Gadson. Pastor Gadson will be chatting with me about his book, Tactics, Trends & Traits of the Enemy: Equipping the Believer to Fight Back.
About the book:
This book is a "practical guide" to overcoming struggles that people face in everyday life that may not be easily recognized as spiritual in nature. Many people wrestle with unnecessary heartache, pain, temptations, and depression without knowing the true source of their dilemma. Unlike other books on spiritual warfare, this book takes the spookiness out of the picture, and shows how people experience spiritual battles in subtle things that are presented to them in everyday life. The Devil is real. His tactics are real. But, we need not fear nor be ignorant of his devices.
About the author:
Jermaine Gadson is the Senior Pastor of Faith Ministries, Inc., a non-traditional church located in Birmingham, AL. Prior to starting Faith Ministries, he served as an associate minister, youth minister, and pastor for local churches and ministries in the greater Birmingham area. While, growing up in the Baptist church, he gave his life to Christ at an early age, and is a third generation minister of the Gospel.
He holds a B.A. in Religion with a Concentration in Congregational Studies and a Minor in Classics from Samford University, and a Master of Divinity from Beeson Divinity School of Samford University. He is currently a Doctor of Ministry student at Beeson Divinity School.

Entrepreneur William Heinecke, author of The Entrepreneur, tells Doug how he became a successful businessman at a young age and why giving charity is very important.
Since when does Hollywood care about offending anyone -- especially in a foreign country where people can't afford movie tickets and their leader is so ridiculous, no movie could portray him as any more far-fetched than he really is?
"Even worse (than pulling the theatrical release) is Sony's apparent decision not to distribute the movie digitally, which would carry no physical threat to consumers," said Paul Levinson, an author and media studies professor at Fordham University. "By not digitally distributing, Sony is not making use of one of the great advantages of the digital age -- safety from dangers in physically public places such as theaters. Rather than caving, Sony should have used this bad occasion to strengthen and expand its digital distribution."

ABOUT THIS SHOW:
This is the sixth year of my annual two-night family Christmas show, filled with wonderful old rare radio shows, stories, songs, and culminating in the second night (tomorrow) with the old and rare reading by author Truman Capote of his own poignant "A Christmas Memory."
You'll hear music by Frank Sinatra, Bing Crosby, and others singing holiday classics, as well as old radio performances of holiday classics, and some you've never heard. The stories vary from year-to-year, but always great nostalgic holiday fare.
Gather your family around, have a cup of hot cocoa, eggnog, or just a cup of good cheer, and enjoy.
Tomorrow night's show will be deleted afterward and only available for listening live each year, when I switch things up and put together a warm and hopefully memorable holiday program for you.
Merry Christmas, and happiest of holidays to everyone. I wish you each a new year of good health, and abundant peace.
Thank you to all of my listeners from the bottom of my heart.
You can heal. You can be free from the pain and sorrow of your past. You can be happy and whole. Start your healing journey today. "Marsha"
