Officially unofficial (but real close) TMDS begins its 3rd season this week. See? Unrealilstic Belief is still dominating my life!!!
Such as a TBI, where has the time flown by? Wasn't it just last week we started this show? Over 100 episodes, 109 at last count. Thank you all, for allowing me into your life. I mean, I look to do well, and do mean well - always. Get confused still? God, I HOPE that's the TBI problem - for if it isn't, now I'm really confused!!!
As in the past opening acts of a new season on BIRN, we'll start by visiting the Annual TBI Suvivors Education Conference presented by the Indiana Brain Injury Association. Lora Miller has provided a wonderful effort towards education for and of brain injury's with Education in the forefront. Social moments, perhaps not the gathering of old, but available and will be worked on. Trust me, she's on my speed dial!!! But, hosted on the campus of Methodist Hospital in downtown Indianapolils is an elaborate and one of 18-model Neuroscience Research Buildings nation-wide, the focus was indeed on BI's and information. National speakers was of the best of their trades. Listen in tonight, we'll play an offering or three. OUR TBI Race team that wasn't in Utah for the World Championships also attended, with John MIlls stealing the show (he looks like Richard Gere) and hearts of insperation, and TMDS Medical Director Kevin Butterfield greeting, and surely I did something our presentations kicked off in a big way.
I indeed talked to Olivia Keith, daughter of TBI Survivor Darcy Keith and now Miss PreTeen Indiana. More too. We'll touch on what we have time for, and welcome back Sam Way. But what I'd rather take the time for is you, your thoughts, your aspirations of a greater TBI world in which we live...
We'll talk News and Sports, have another amazing Soda Review, give out the Douche Bag of the Week Award, and play some Fun With Words. Aaron will also present a list of crazy Washington state laws and we'll finish the show with our list of the Top 7 Scariest Tools (and no, Ashton Kutcher is not on the list).

Tanna Frederick recently wrapped production on Henry Jaglom’s romantic mystery “Ovation” starring opposite James Denton. The story is set in the backstage world of theatre where the cast struggles to keep their play afloat while they search for a murder suspect amongst themselves.
She has two films coming out next year -- Jaglom’s romantic comedy “The M Word” (with Corey Feldman, Michael Imperioli and Frances Fisher) will be released in January/February, and “Garner, Iowa” where she stars as a single mother who returns to Iowa (Frederick’s hometown) to deal with her past, will be released in the spring.
She’s also hitting the boards in “The Rainmaker” at the Edgemar Theatre in Santa Monica. The Los Angeles Times gave it Critics’ Choice and said, “The standout of this terrific cast is Tanna Frederick’s acerbically yearning Lizzie…It’s a transformation not to be missed.”
Frederick's performance in her first feature with Jaglom, “Hollywood Dreams,” earned her Best Actress at WorldFest Houston, Montana International Film Festival, Fargo Film Festival and the Wild Rose Film Festival. The film took Best Picture honors at the San Luis Obispo Film Festival and to Best Comedy at WorldFest Houston. She was named Method Fest’s “Performer to Watch” and has also received the Los Angeles Women’s Theatre Festival’s “Maverick” Award.
If laughter is medicine then the doctor is in because this Sunday 9/14/14 we will be interviewing the phenomenal Sampson McCormick.
Bio: Sampson McCormick is a nationally touring, award winning, stand up comedian, writer and activist who can make audiences double over in laughter whether he's joking about his whacky and beloved, Aunt Jackie, his twink neighbor or addressing homophobia, poverty, and religion. For over a decade, he has been a favorite at LGBT pride festivals and mainstream venues alike. His screen appearances include BET, MTV's "Real World", and the Oprah Winfrey Network. He is also the author of two books "Ebonic Faggotry", and "Taboo Village: A Perspective on Being Gay In Black America" and is at work on his third. He's also released three live stand up comedy albums, including his latest"That Bitch Better Be Funny: Live at the Howard Theater", where he made history, becoming the first openly gay comedian to headline the famous venue. Other prestigious venues that he has headlined include The White House, The Kennedy Center for the Performing Arts, The World Famous Comedy Store in Hollywood, CA and Harvard University.
His comedy offers riveting, refreshing and original takes on religion, sexuality, life and politics--you know, all those things there you weren't suppose to talk about in polite company.
