A better person for our White House is on BlogTalkRadio @ 5:30pm: Curtis Clinton

    in Elections

I am unknown but what I say is known. I know that what I say has special significance and foresightedness. You don’t have to be a Politician or a Celebrity to be electable. That is what I am trying to say and prove with my appearance on BLOG TALK RADIO. I may not be charismatic. Charisma may come with the backdrop of the White House. Over 8 years on BLOG TALK RADIO, I have mentioned more correctness and solid reasoning. It is because my feet are on the ground. I don’t have a platform like Democrats, Republicans or other Political Entities. You have to feel the movement on the ground, its vibrations and shaking. Platforms are too high up for many people to touch and be touched by them. Please listen on BLOG TALK RADIO. Please open up your ears to my voicing of ideas and means of resuscitation our quality of living and working and recreation. I would be good in our White House.

Our Country is faced with the big challenge and choice – a non-Politician / non-Celebrity for President. Drain down the money and all of its influence in masking the flaws of all Political & Celebrity Candidates. I am as distinct as all of us: Curtis Clinton – 120,000,000 Write-In Ballots: if everyone does a Write-In Ballot, we will all be in and together on the same things to do with all of us getting something important done with 1 Middle-Income/Party-Less person working for both parties and everyone else. Right now, togetherness and community is needed. We are Americans and not Americans United For Change: More Money being spent for the benefit of a few. Put an end to buying an election..

  • Reducing Infant Mortality in the United States

    in Health

DR. FORD HAS A CONFLICT.  WE ARE WORKING TO REBOOK THIS FOR NEXT WEEK.  SORRY FOR THE INCONVENIENCE. - JOYCE AND ROBIN

What can we do to lower the incidence of infant deaths? Joyce and Robin speak with Dr. Robert Ford, a retired obstetrician/gynecologist (OB/GYN) from West Memphis, Arkansas, now living in Memphis, Tennessee. Dr. Ford shares his insights into this problem, which is highest in the Southern states.

Unfortunately, about 24,000 infants died in the United States in 2011. The loss of a baby remains a sad reality for many families and takes a serious toll on the health and well-being of families, as well as the nation.

The death of a baby before his or her first birthday is called infant mortality. The infant mortality rate is an estimate of the number of infant deaths for every 1,000 live births. This rate is often used as an indicator to measure the health and well-being of a nation, because factors affecting the health of entire populations can also impact the mortality rate of infants. There are obvious differences in infant mortality by age, race, and ethnicity; for instance, the mortality rate for non-Hispanic black infants is more than twice that of non-Hispanic white infants.

    What are the Causes?

Fortunately, most newborns grow and thrive. However, for every 1,000 babies that are born, six die during their first year.1 Most of these babies die because they are—

Born with a serious birth defect.
Born too small and too early (i.e., preterm birth; birth before 37 weeks gestation).
Victims of Sudden Infant Death Syndrome (SIDS).
Affected by maternal complications of pregnancy.
    Victims of injuries (e.g., suffocation).

These top five leading causes of infant mortality together account for 58% of all infant deaths in the United States in 2011.

My hope and foundation is in the Son of God, even Christ. I look at Christ different than I used to. And this will become obvious as we visit together. I do believe with all my heart that I am following the direction of Jesus Christ and the Holy Ghost. My witness of Them is my lifeline and my hope. They give me courage and joy in my day to day walk. Today we will be beginning the complete reading of A Course In Miracles and I will also be sharing some insights from my other studies and experiences, primarily in the Book of Mormon and the Book of Matthew in the New Testament of the King James version of the Bible.
