    Description of Love - 1 Corinthians 13

    in Christianity

Today we discuss what love is. What does it really mean to love? Is God Love?

Many people are under the assumption that if we love another, then we have God. But what it really means is that when you truly know what, and who God is, then you can know what it means to love another.

Love is only 1 of the many attributes of God, there is both good and bad sides. love, mercy, grace, wrath, vengeance and Batman

Next broadcast will begin a new sort of study. We will be trying out an actual study book called Purple: Biblical Foundations for building strong disciples. ORDER HERE

Holy Ghost Power: Recognizing His Presence

    in Christianity

For years many have been told inaccurately that speaking in a language they do not understand was "the" sign they are filled with the Holy Ghost. Thier basis for this assumption is found in Acts 2:4. In todays message the prophet will show you by Scripture how this misinterpretation came to be AND share revelation revealing the presence of the Holy Spirit in believers.

We thank God for you coming to hear the Word of God and pray the blessing of the Lord upon your life in every area. May every need be met and you be richly blessed by the inspiring word you hear!

God has given us bible-based concepts showing us how to live each day, and especially in difficult times. When you receive the revelation of God’s will, it will strengthen you in your daily walk with Jesus. We will prove to you through Scripture precepts and example that Father is faithful. Get your bible, pen and paper and get ready to hear what the LORD is saying. Our message is delivered by the prophet Mary E. Washington, Pastor of Feed My Sheep World Evangelism located in Irving, Texas. Please support our World Evangelism Internet Ministry by giving your gift of $25.00 or more to help us in spreading the Good News.  Thank you in advance and may God bless you where every need is met!

Paul and Susan Christian Living Series on Blogtalk Radio Part 2

    in Christianity

Protestant soteriology is predicated on perpetual re-salvation. The doctrine calls for a continual return to the same gospel that saved us to, supposedly, grow as a Christian. But the devil is in the details as this is usually worded, “growing in grace.” The assumption follows: this refers to growing in our Christian walk, but note the word, “grace” which refers to salvation. Does our salvation grow? Or do we grow?

Our vision is that the next 500 years, if the Lord tarries, will have the same emphasis on sanctification and true Christian living that has been emphasized by the Protestant false gospel of progressive justification. Our vision is that the focus will be making disciples, not re-justification. The big lie of our day is Protestants calling their progressive justification, “progressive sanctification.” We are not sanctified by justification, we are sanctified by our own labors while aided by the Trinity. This series focuses on how we do that in every area of life.

Death is the outcome from lacking a viable spirituality that is unique

    in Paranormal

It is the great assumption people make humanly- that everyone will die eventually, but this is erroneous. Ascension is the flip side of death that only occurs when one has a spiritual practice that is unique and corresponds to life as it is as the self-regerative. The failure people make is with religion, rather than with what brings to life thew body, which is the spirit. Spirituality is always and only a unique, one of a kind discipline. No two people are the same, so no one will have or live by the same type or kind of spirituality. Welcome to my point of view.

'America's Next Top Model' Cycle 22 Prediction: Who Will Be Sent Home in Week 13

    in Pop Culture

    The Guys

Mikey is in full-on rock star mode right now. He won both the challenge and best photo, and Kelly Cutrone, who is a serious, hardcore bitch (in the best possible way) has always had a soft spot for the Sons of Anarchy meets surfer dude.

Tyra said it herself, Nyle is slipping. I love this guy. Nyle is always polite; he doesn't bring any drama; he's professional, he's smart, and he's gorgeous. But we cannot pretend that the fact that he's deaf is not a liability. During the nighttime photo shoot, he struggled the most, and his frustration resulted in so-so pics. I would love nothing more than to be wrong in my assumption that the fashion world would fail to fully embrace Nyle, but this is an industry that traffics in physical perfection.

ANTM Recap: Which Model's Shot in the Dark Completely Missed the Target?

    The Girls

It would be very sad if Lacey not only gets eliminated, but is sent back to the boonies with that unfortunate hair cut. That pageboy is going to be a bitch to grow out without a good hairdresser at the ready. Lacey didn't land in the bottom two at the last panel, but she wasn't getting much love at the photo shoot either. Creative consultant Yu Tsai commented that Lacey was modeling like she had a stick up her ass.

Mame screwed up the challenge, and had she managed to kill it, she may have edged out Mikey for best photo. She's got the walk and has a strong presence in person, but if any future challenges require public speaking, she could be screwed. A surprising weakness for a pageant queen.

    Jesus’ Teaching on God’s Law

    in Christianity

Perhaps the most widespread controversies about the teachings of Jesus concern His attitude toward the laws of God recorded in the Old Testament. The approach of most churches and denominations regarding Jesus is that He brought a new teaching differing considerably from the instructions of the Old Testament. The common view is that the teachings of Christ in the New Testament annulled and replaced the teachings of the Old Testament. But do they? The idea that Jesus departed from the Old Testament is also a common assumption within Judaism. Rabbis explains why Jews as a whole do not follow Jesus and reject any possibility that He could be the Messiah. “Jews believe in the Torah of Moses,” he explains, “… and that belief requires faithful Jews to enter a dissent at the teachings of Jesus, on the grounds that those teachings at important points contradict the Torah”. Here is a serious mistake both Christianity and Judaism make about the teachings of Jesus. Both hold the erroneous view that Jesus departed from the teachings of the Old Testament, especially with regard to law. As we will see, the record shows that while Jesus disagreed with the religious leaders, He didn’t disagree with Old Testament Scriptures.

Why many women and some men don't ask questions. Assumptions anyone?

    in Self Help

Why many women and some men don't ask questions. (Yep--some of us prefer assuming, it's safer).

What are we so afraid of? The truth.

Many of us don't ask, so we don't know and we use it as a form of control. Meaning, if we don't ask a question aimed at learning a truth, we continue in the illusion that things are still the same. We continue acting in the same ways and assuming if the other person is not saying or doing anything differently, then our assumption is correct.

It keeps us in control, in other words, inside of our comfort zone where we know how to operate. If we ask questions, it may bring up things we don't want to hear, or cause an ending that we just don't feel ready to deal with at the moment.

Join me to learn not only the WHY behind our illusions, and the assumptions we create, but also how to step up and step out into not only asking questions, but in getting to your own truth!

Deepertruth Friday: Mary's Assumption Into Heaven

    in Religion

“God’s temple in heaven was opened, and the ark of his covenant could be seen in the temple. A great sign appeared in the sky, a woman clothed with the sun, with the moon under her feet, and on her head a crown of twelve stars. She was with child and wailed aloud in pain as she labored to give birth. Then another sign appeared in the sky; it was a huge red dragon, with seven heads and ten horns, and on its heads were seven diadems. Its tail swept away a third of the stars in the sky and hurled them down to the earth. Then the dragon stood before the woman about to give birth, to devour her child when she gave birth. She gave birth to a son, a male child, destined to rule all the nations with an iron rod. Her child was caught up to God and his throne. The woman herself fled into the desert where she had a place prepared by God. Then I heard a loud voice in heaven say: “Now have salvation and power come, and the Kingdom of our God and the authority of his Anointed One.”
