“God’s temple in heaven was opened, and the ark of his covenant could be seen in the temple. A great sign appeared in the sky, a woman clothed with the sun, with the moon under her feet, and on her head a crown of twelve stars. She was with child and wailed aloud in pain as she labored to give birth. Then another sign appeared in the sky; it was a huge red dragon, with seven heads and ten horns, and on its heads were seven diadems. Its tail swept away a third of the stars in the sky and hurled them down to the earth. Then the dragon stood before the woman about to give birth, to devour her child when she gave birth. She gave birth to a son, a male child, destined to rule all the nations with an iron rod. Her child was caught up to God and his throne. The woman herself fled into the desert where she had a place prepared by God. Then I heard a loud voice in heaven say: “Now have salvation and power come, and the Kingdom of our God and the authority of his Anointed One.”

It's that time of year again...the students are back, and the problems that were unsolved at the end of last school year are probably still unsolved now (except in British Columbia, where school hasn't started yet due to mitigating circumstances). Today's program focused on assumptions about why students have difficulty meeting expectations, and whether we should start by assuming that they really can meet those expectations or immediately leap into solving problems collaboratively to find out why they're not. An omen of programs to come...

Last year October I hit rock bottom. Everything I hoped and invested in without God fell through my hands and I was left empty and heartbroken. I decided it was finally time to go on my first healing journey which I am still on. It was something I had never done before. I was not very successful in hiding wounds in the past behind all sorts of things that just caused more pain. I realized that God allowed something to happen that would wake me up and all I would be able to do was lean on him. I believe he wanted me for once and all to trust him with my life instead of trying to do things my way. How's that working for you? Lol that's basically how that started.
A year later it is still very hard and I think many times this is not talked about much with the Christian walk. The assumption is the Christian is always bubbly and has no wounds or demonic attacks they are struggling with. There are Christians who have less wounds than others, but I'm speaking to those with deep wounds.
I feel this is especially important for those who have recently come out of the world and are now learning to live their life entirely different in Christ. It is a very painful and difficult task when God is shedding off the old spirit(s) and filling you with his spirit so that you can walk according to the life he has for you. Many of us have scars from our childhood and/or wounds we have picked up from living our past sinful lifestyle, therefore, healing is necessary.
So I hope this show will inspire you if you haven't started a needed healing journey or will encourage you to continue on in your healing journey.
