Matthew 26:52 “Put your sword back in its place,” Jesus said to him, “for all who draw the sword will die by the sword.
I never understood the Christian right and their obsession with guns. I understand men and why they love guns so much but that is because men love violence. However, Christ had words that His followers should never ignore.
Matthew 5:9 Blessed are the peacemakers, for they will be called children of God. James 3:18 Peacemakers who sow in peace reap a harvest of righteousness.
This scripture further illustrates Gods desire for leaders to advocate peace. God calls all of us to be at peace no matter how it reflects upon us. I listened to Reverend Huckabee on foxnews make claims that Obama is weak and trembling in the sight of mighty Russia. Perhaps President Obama believes in following Christ even if people will look upon him as weak. Perhaps Reverend Huckabee has misunderstood that American pride is more important than Christian humility.
James 1:9 Believers in humble circumstances ought to take pride in their high position.

Weapons of Our Warfare Part 3 - by Dr. Ernest Maddox
What you need to know about Spiritual Warfare.
You have purchased this book and you are in for a very unique experience. This book or should I say narrative is a result of over three hours of lecture regarding spiritual warfare. I decided that this book/narrative should reflect the cadence and the speaking approach that I used in creating the three CDs entitled, “Weapons of Our Warfare.” What is unique about this is that you can read the book, listen to the CDs, or do them together.
This book is laid out in such a way that you will be able to identify what I call track categories. At the beginning of each new thought, there is a timing signature indicating where this particular subject matter is located on the audio CD. You will notice that there may be some time signatures identifying a particular subject congregated under a track number. Track numbers are represented as T-1, T-2, etc., for the purpose of coordination.
To simplify the process, the book is broken down into three major sections, to correspond with the three CDs, (Weapons of Our Warfare disks 1, 2, and 3). Each lecture section will have its own track and time code layout. This book and the CDs are purchased separately, unless specified otherwise during the purchasing process. Both items contain the exact same information, it is just a matter of preference.

Operation Paperclip (1945)
Right after World War 2, President Truman wanted to snag up all of the German scientists because they had all of the cool weapons and we didn’t want the Russians to have access to them. We had already brought in some Germans to help with the Manhattan Project – the building of the atom bomb, but we wanted more advancement. Truman stated that he didn’t want any Nazi party members or people who were influential in the war, but this was nearly impossible to fulfill. Government officials, working for a group called the Joint Intelligence Objectives Agency (a precursor to the CIA), circumvented the President and created false documents from the Nazi scientists.
Project F (1945)
Growing up we were all told that fluoride is good for our teeth. They add it to drinking water, it has to be good. I had read about different groups complaining in the 1950s about fluoride in our drinking water, but I thought they were all kooks. Turns out I was wrong! As it turns out, fluoride in our drinking water was the result of the Atomic Energy Commission (AEC). Program F was the largest and most extensive study on the effects of fluoride in human subjects, which is a key component in the making of nuclear bombs. Fluoride is one of the most toxic chemicals known to man and does some really bad stuff to your central nervous system. This information, however, has been largely pushed under the rug to keep our nuclear program going. From 1945-1956, the Department of Health used Newbury, New York as a testing ground for fluoride. The results are still classified. Fluoride exposure collects in the bones and also effects the brain. While it does have some benefit to our teeth, does this outweigh the hazards? Fluoride can be found in mouthwash, toothpaste, drinking water, and nuclear missiles.

Since succcess in business is ultimately based on the number of "battles" you win, it is imperative to acquire effective weapons to use on your business battlefield. The ability to listen is one of your most powerful weapons.
We can listen at a rate of 800 words per minute, but most people only talk at about 180 words per minute. Some have gusts of up to 220 or 250. Since they aren't talking as fast as we can listen, our minds sometimes go off by themselves to think about other things, especially if the other person is long-winded or boring.
Think of how many times a day you utilise listening skills. Business meetings, interaction with customers, transactions with suppliers, casual conversations with colleagues, as well as meaningful conversations with loved ones.
Listening is one of your most powerful communication skills. Join Choices host and best selling author, Judi Moreo, as she shares a three step approach to active listening and helps you discover ways to hear not only what is being said, but what is being meant.
