Pastor T.Russell Moore's bible study: The Weapons Of Our Warfare

    in Religion

We as christians are locked in a invisible war against a supernatural enemy. He fights dirty and unfair using our fleshly weakness against us.  His goal is to render us unuseful to the Kingdom of God. There is no blow thats to low for him. He will use anybody and everything He can to destroy your witness for God. In order to fight him we have to have powerful weapons to combat his evil ways. God has given us the victory over him in the person of Jesus Christ. He defeated satan at the cross and through His victorious resurrection from the dead, In Christ you have the victory.

Netanyahu Is Coming March 3rd to Washington What Does Obama Say?

    in Moms and Family

Israel Prime minister Benjamin Netanyahu will be addressing the house March 3rd and the word is that the White House is livid! Just what does the president have to say about Netanyahu whom accepted the request made by US House of representative speaker Senator John Boehner. There is no doubt that this is an international embarrassment and is directly due to the negotiations with Iran. We are certainly in perilous times and we may not know how serious a moment we are in. The question is will it be by negotiations or by military force that will bring an end to Iran's quest to have a nuclear weapon.

MMR vaccines actually spread measles and cause permanent immune damage, doctor warns

Dr. Robert Rowen was fortunate enough to have grown up before the advent of MMR, emphasizing that he was "blessed" to have had natural measles, as well as chickenpox, rubella, mumps and various other conditions as a child. He lived, of course, and now no longer has to worry about ever contracting any of these diseases again, thanks to the lifelong immunity he developed.

How Can We Empower Oppressed Women To Help Themselves?

    in Women

In some cultures, marriage means a man's ownership of a woman's body. This belief leads to culturally accepted abuse of women, often under the guise of religion, and when abuse of women becomes an accepted part of a culture, it is difficult for women to break free of a cycle of bondage. Today, two women share their work within the Muslim community that that has helped break down barriers and provide solutions for women seeking relief from domestic violence, sexual abuse and family abandonment. Sister Claudette Muhammad, author of the book Memories, shares the wisdom she acquired through her extensive life experience. Sister Khadijah Dawah discusses her work in providing homes for homeless Muslim women.

    Post Traumatic Stress Disorder

    in Politics

Post Traumatic Stress Disorder occurs when a person is exposed to one or more traumatic events, such as sexual assault, warfare, serious injury, or threats of imminent death.  The diagnosis may be given when a group of symptoms, such as disturbing recurring flashbacks, avoidance or numbing of memories of the event, and hyperarousal, continue for more than a month after the occurrence of a traumatic event. Most people having experienced a traumatizing event will not develop PTSD.  People who experience assault-based trauma are more likely to develop PTSD, as opposed to people who experience non-assault based trauma such as witnessing trauma, accidents, and fire events. Children are less likely to experience PTSD after trauma than adults, especially if they are under ten years of age. War veterans are commonly at risk for PTSD.  Tonite, we will discuss the issue from a veterans view point.  We will be joined by the CEO of the ARS BELLUM FOUNDATION. Bridget Cronin.  She will discuss how the foundation is helping many veterans and their families.
