    What's Right about Me that I'm Not Getting?

    in Self Help

    It's rare that someone asks, "So, what's right about you?" Oh wait! No one has EVER asked you that? What if, when things took a turn for the weird, you began to ask, "What's right about me that I'm not getting?

    Until a couple of years ago I'd spent a lot of time writing journals and lists of all the things that I could fix, things I wanted to be different, things I could have done better, and conversations that could have gone differently.

    Until I started asking a different set of questions, I was stuck looking at what was wrong and avoiding it... or fixing it... or fixing it if I couldn't avoid it... None of that was freedom... None of that actually acknowleged what was actually possible nor did it foster greater choice.

    So what does it take to move beyond the automatic, "What did I do wrong!?" into peace and ease... into the joy of living, the ease of choosing, and the creative expression of being you

    Prayer with the Prophets!

    in Spirituality

    Let's pray like: Jesus, King David, Daniel, Prophetess Anna, Paul and Silas and you!

    Luke 18:1 (KJV)
    1 And he spake a parable unto them to this end, that men ought always to pray, and not to faint;

    Matthew 6:9-13 (KJV)

    9 After this manner therefore pray ye: Our Father which art in heaven, Hallowed be thy name.
    10 Thy kingdom come. Thy will be done in earth, as it is in heaven.
    11 Give us this day our daily bread.
    12 And forgive us our debts, as we forgive our debtors.
    13 And lead us not into temptation, but deliver us from evil: For thine is the kingdom, and the power, and the glory, forever. Amen.

    Let us pray until we have the answer!
