Student confusion! - Hillary in the Marines! - Zombies

    in Politics

Hr1    What is happening to our college campuses? Liberalism, communism, or something else?

College "safe space" boos Asian woman for saying ‘Black people can be racist.’

Million Student March demands free public college, cancellation of student debt, & $15/hr campus wage, because they want free stuff and somebody's got to pay! Neil Cavuto interviewed student organizer. It was embarrassing.

Hr2    Did Hillary Clinton REALLY try to join the Marines? Or was it just a convenient headline grabber on the 240th birthday of the Marine Corps?

Evan Sayet talks... nationalism, socialism, liberalism. Nobody grows up to become a Liberal.

Nationalism isn't evil if you support a moral, free country. Socialism is evil.

Hr3   Why is it ok for kids to watch all these horror and zombie movies, but they can't handle talking about rape on campus? And microaggressions and other offensive slights? Teach them to handle REAL life!

San Diego almost has their first transgender homecoming queen.

San Diego State University axes homecoming ‘king’ and ‘queen,’ replaces it with gender-neutral ‘royals.’

Texas school fires two workers who refuse to call so-called transgender 6-year-old student by new name. Why? Because the child was confused and kept changing gender preference from day to day.

Have you had your healthy dose of reality lately?

The Dr. Kim Show “The Million Man March” How far have we come?

    in Entertainment

    The Dr. Kim Show

“The Million Man March” How far have we come?

    November 10, 2015

    10:00 am – 11:00 am (MST)

CALLING ALL BLACK MEN….CALLING ALL HISPANIC MEN…CALLING ALL CAUCSIAN MEN….CALLING ALL ASIAN MEN…CALLING ALL MEN!  The Dr. Kim Show is back.  Twenty years ago, over one million people marched in Washington D.C., with the calling “A Million Man March”.  All to bring awareness to the issues that still effect the Black man in America. Is the plight of the Black man important to America?  Yes! America, as a nation is only as free as its most enslaved, and that would be the Black man. By all means, It is the time for Black men to rise up and unit their communities, their families, their businesses; as seen in many other racial groups like Hispanic Americans, Asian Americans, etc.  In 2015, the Million Man March was reborn and Washington D.C., filled with more than a million men and women of all races marching together.  Ironically, as the march would be as a symbol of racial unity not racial separation.   No press coverage, no media reports, no fighting or riots in the street.

In order to start this season out right…let’s get to the mission! This is not just a battle for African American men.  Our world is transforming into a new empowered existence for human beings.  In order for this transformation to occur differences amongst men must be settled, at least societal in the minds of the majority.

Authors of the Dark Justice Bundle LIVE! Special 2nd "Saturday" Crime

    in Books

Do you know about StoryBundle.com? If not, you should! And you'll find out on a very special edition of Second Sunday Crime, this time on Wednesday, November 11. Ten fabulous authors have contributed a full novel to a special bundle of crime fiction which is only available for another week! When we say "fabulous," btw, we mean it: the bundle AND THE SHOW will include NY Times Best Sellers Lawrence Block, Rebecca Cantrell, July Hyzy, Kris Nelscott, Dean Wesley Smith, and 2nd Sunday Crime host, Libby Hellmann. Plus others! Please join us for what will certainly be a rollicking party on Authors On The Air. We'll talk crime, fiction, bundles, and more! Have a question for Larry Block? Call in. Have a comment on the Bundle itself, let us know. Did you can name your own price for the Bundle? Hear about all of it and more...

    As Curator Kristine Rusch says:

"This bundle comes as close to crime fiction perfection as possible... We have a lot of diversity here. Our investigators include an African American detective, a Canadian doctor of Asian extraction, a disabled stockbroker and a group of retired cold case detectives. Throw in a few amateur detectives, a disgraced ex-cop, a female bounty hunter, and the famous Matthew Scudder, who has appeared in film (most recently A Walk Among The Tombstones), and you’ll encounter the full range of characters the mystery genre has to offer.

I’ve read and loved the work of each and every one of these writers. Some of them I’ve read since I started reading mystery and some I’ve read since before they ever had a book published. In one of my other incarnations, I’m an award-winning editor, so believe me when I tell you that if there were some kind of Kristine Kathryn Rusch Gold Seal of Approval, the books in this bundle would receive it."

    Strengthening the Mind-Body Connection

    in Health

Alison J Kay, PhD, speaks with Robin and Joyce about the melding of Asian and Western philosophies and medical cultures that she feels optimizes our ability to live fully in today's busy world.

Have you been feeling like life has become less? Less reliable, safe, and stable? Are you looking for more from life? More authenticity, more hope, more meaning, more health, more love, more feeling safe and/or more calm in your life? You’re not alone. There are external factors causing these feelings.

Alison wrote her book What if There’s Nothing Wrong? during the last year of her 10 years living and working in Asia.  She left the U.S. two months before 9/11/2001, and returned two years into Obama’s first administration.  She has written this book to bring to Americans the subtle energy practices used in Asia which she feels will help Americans create vibrantly healthy, happy lives.

For a taste of her practice, see http://alisonjkay.com/group-sessions/
