    The Acknowledgment of Grace

    in Spirituality

Grace is form without content but brings artistic expression into the world. It enhances the quality of our lives and reminds us that to simply ‘be’ is living in grace. Tune in this week as Lisa Jones and I discuss ways grace shows up in our lives. We know grace in art, the dancer becomes the dance; the musician gives life to a musical script, the painter becomes one with the brush and canvas. In human affairs, grace is aligned with our soul’s intent—to self-express. We master this expression over time as we hone in on our true selves. Through the appreciation of ‘the form’ we take absent of ego we apprehend our own inner beauty. Somehow life is raised above the mere struggle for survival. The possession of grace, like receiving a beautiful gift can add richness to an otherwise humble life. Tonight’s show is about taking care to lend grace to the small and the deep of our lives. It is the background for whatever we manifest in on our spiritual path.

BLACK people who served time for Crime, still paying the price Today when freed

BLACK people  who served time for Crime, still paying the price Today when freed

There will never be a revolutionary movement in this country that doesn’t fully unleash and give expression to the sometimes openly expressed, sometimes expressed in partial ways, sometimes expressed in wrong ways, but deeply, deeply felt desire to be rid of these long centuries of oppression [of Black people]. There’s never gonna be a revolution in this country, and there never should be, that doesn’t make that one key foundation of what it’s all about.

    Bob Avakian, Chairman of the
    Revolutionary Communist Party, USA,

A growing number of states are pushing inmates out of prison in early release programs designed to reduce overcrowding and save money. But faced with a tight job market and few employers willing to hire someone with a criminal record, many former inmates are likely to end up right back behind bars.

Last month, California began releasing prisoners deemed at low risk for re-offending. Colorado, Oregon, Kentucky and Connecticut, all wracked with budgetary issues, have instituted similar moves as a way to cut costs, while others, including Michigan and Mississippi, are considering similar initiatives.

CUTV News Radio spotlights Debra Blake Coaching

    in Self Help

Silver Spring, MD – An artist isn’t necessarily someone with talent. It’s someone with vision, imagination, and above all, courage. Artistic courage requires self-reflection and a willingness to stretch one’s self beyond its comfort zone.

Such was the case for artist Debra Blake. Debra is the founder of Debra Blake Coaching, where she works with individuals to raise their self-awareness by encouraging their creativity.

“Creativity is the act of taking what is already there and turning it into something that suits your vision, your purpose and your emotional being,” says Debra. “As I continue to work on my art, I discover more and more about the process of learning, of seeing, of moving out of self-doubt to become more myself and more the artist I want to be."

Debra first discovered coaching while working at the State Department. It was through this coaching that Debra realized what she really wanted to do: be an artist.

“I realized that I had a very deep desire to become professional with my art; that this had been a lifelong desire that I had overlooked in favor of academics and professional work. It was a very frightening enterprise in many ways – learning all I had to learn – but I’m thrilled about it."

Today, at the age of 61, Debra is absolutely committed to promoting her clients self-awareness.

"The coach relies on the client to summon their natural resourcefulness and creativity," says Debra. "Being an artist is the same thing. Like art, you have to bring your whole self to it.”

HOW TO GET READY FOR SEPTEMBER 2015! HOW TO BUILD YOUR ARK

    in Religion

    NEW 7 HOUR AUDIO SERIES!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

HOW TO BUILD YOUR SPIRITUAL ARK

Now the LORD spoke to Moses, saying,"See, I have called by name Bezalel, the son of Uri, the son of Hur, of the tribe of Judah. "I have filled him with the Spirit of God in wisdom in understanding, in knowledge, and in all kinds of craftsmanship,to make artistic designs for work in gold, in silver, and in bronze and in the cutting of stones for settings, and in the carving of wood, that he may work in all kinds of craftsmanship. Exodus 31:1-3

Btsal'el's (Bezaleel's) name signifies "In the Shadow i.e. "protection" of God. " He was the son of Uri meaning: the Light of God, light, illumination, enlightenment, "My light, my fire." The "Urim" of the high priests’ breastplate is the same term, but plural in number.

The son of Hur (Hebrew=Chur, one of Moses trusted companions, who held up the arms of Moses at the battle with the Amalekites. (Exodus 17:10-13) Bezaleel was a man called by God, to make the ark of the covenant. In fact "God called Bezaleel specifically by name," when giving Moses the instructions for the Tabernacle. In Exodus 25:8-9, God instructed Moses to build a tabernacle so that God could dwell with His people as it is written:

Understanding the growth cycle of Sympathy to Compassion to Rapport

    in Spirituality

We know our world is stressed. We desire to live in peace. This reality seems to be a dream that turns out to be so difficult to attain. Why? What is the seed cause for our poor outcome when our desire and passion for peace is so strong?

From a SELFGnosis recognition the peace conundrum is resolved by restoring a lost ability that flows from our Human Spirit, the Essence of what makes us human. What specifically is that ability?

It is our ability to Love one another as ourself. And that translates into emotional skills of sympathy, compassion, and the elevated expression of being able to communicate with genuine caring rapport.

Rapport is a listening, loving, caring ability. Let's talk about this cycle of growth and how you can make it your growth into an ability. It all starts with clarity of understanding this cycle.
